HONOR THE CHAPEL HONOR THE CHAPEL HONOR THE CHAPEL HONOR THE CHAPEL
St. Mary’s Chapel had been a sa-
cred place for the St. Mary’s com-
munity for decades. The windows,
ar5facts and altar have been re-
moved and with respect and digni-
ty, and the Chapel has been de-
commissioned.
St. Mary’s wants to honor this sa-
cred place. A plan to create a
Gro,o to the Blessed Virgin Mary
on the very spot where the Chapel
stood, memorializing and maintain-
ing the hallowed ground.
Our exis5ng Our Lady of Grace stat-
ue will be moved from its current
loca5on to the Groo, which will
become the centerpiece of the St.
Mary’s campus main quad.
Please join us at St. Mary’s Parish on Sunday, February 10
a;er the 9:00am and 11:30am Masses for a Listening Session
and Presenta on; the architect will be available to talk about
the project, he will seek our input and answer ques ons
about the Gro&o Project.
