Our Object Sorting robot lets you learn various aspects of robotic. In the simplest application it will perform the sorting of Black and White objects over conveyor. If you place Black object on the Stage it will pick the object and place it left side and if you place white object , it pick the object and place it right side.4/16/2013
Object sorting robot inspired by the collective behavior of the social insects distributed, self-organized, and scalable as there is no centralized control or global communication. This system is appealing due to its scalability, flexibility, and robustness. Inspired by the brood sorting behavior .

Application Review In this project, there is two application will be combine. This application is: 1. Line Follower. 2. Color Sensor. 3. Positioning of Photo resistor Sensors Review In this project, three infra red sensors has been use to sense a line and one LDR to detect a ball's color. A LDR (Light Dependent Resistors) sensor is used as a color sensor in the project. It is able to receive a value in analog signal with a small range provided. Controller Review A controller used in this project is a microcontroller 8051. This is a 40 pins c and it is enough since the sensor used is only 13 ports.

Driver Review L293D is used as a motor driver for the DC motor Component Review There is a few components that is used in this project. 1. Servo Motor 2. Gearbox with DC Motor 3. Power Supply 4. Electrical Parts 5. DC Motor The most commonly used Character based LCDs are based on Hitachi's HD44780 controller or other which are compatible with HD44580. Interfacing ADC Analog signals are very common inputs to embedded systems .Most transducers and sensors such as temperature ,pressure ,velocity ,humidity are analog. Therefore we need to convert these

Brain storming - Settle on the choice of project in the 'brain storming' part. hardware designing - The hardware design includes all the aspects of the electronic connections between other devices, like the compatibility of the voltage levels, or the required number of pins, etc... programming & debugging - Passing to the programming & debugging phase, because programming is much more flexible than the hardware design.

We require assembling of two sensors PCB.1.) One for LDR and visible LED Pair (LDR and LED will be mount on conveyor using adhesive and connected through Sensor PCB using long wires). This pair detects the presence of object on the conveyor. 2.) Second for IR LED and IR Sensor pair(LDR and LED will be mount on conveyor using adhesive and connected through Sensor PCB using long wires). This pair detects the color of object on the conveyor.

Solder is an alloy (mixture) of tin and lead, typically 60% tin and 40% lead. It melts at a temperature of about 200C. Coating a surface with solder is called tinning because of the tin content of solder. Solder for electronics use contains tiny cores of flux, like the wires inside a mains flex. The flux is corrosive, like an acid, and it cleans the metal surfaces as the solder melts. Melt the solder actually on the joint, not on the iron tip. Without flux most joints would fail because metals quickly oxidize and the solder itself will not flow properly onto a dirty, oxidized, metal surface. The best size of solder for electronic circuit boards is 22swg (swg = standard wire gauge). For plugs, component holders and other larger joints

we investigated the problem of sorting objects of two classes by a robot. The robot have only limited perception of the local environment and have no a priori information about the distribution or number of the objects to be sorted in the environment.

Object sorting robots can easily pick and place object into a new location. optimizing the productivity, minimizing the cost of the project and make no human mistakes. speed up the process, which increases production rates. More accurate and do not fatigue. quality and repeatability. reprogrammable and tooling can be interchanged to provide for multiple applications. An increase in output with a material handling robotic system has saved factories money With the advancements in technology and affordability of robots. more object sorting robotic cells are being installed for automation applications. Such a system is useful when robot is to perform tasks at the micro-scale or the nano-scale where they can only have very limited sensing, computing, and actuation capabilities4/16/2013
