13- Thematic areas (1301) OTECI had requested a choice of 4 areas out of 26 + other, ranked
in the order of importance. 590 answers had a choice of 5 or 6 areas of which 2 or 3 selected as
a first choice. After checking that removing these 590 answers did not change
significantly the ranking of thematic areas, but only the %, it was decided to analyse in detail the 1301 answers in line with OTECI’s request (4x1301=5204 areas).
The weighting of choices (4/3/2/1) does not change significantly the overall ranking either.
The choices are balanced between Economic life (35%), Social life (32%) and Humanitarian (31%) areas, with more first choice in Economic life (41%).
