Our Second Collection next weekend, July 20-21 will be taken up for the Church in Central and Eastern Europe. This collection supports the Church in more than 20 countries that are still struggling to recover in the aftermath of communist rule. Funds from this col-lection support pastoral care, catechesis, building reno-vations, and seminary formation. Your support restores the Church and builds the future in this region. Please prayerfully consider how you can support the collection next week. More information can be found at www.usccb.org/ccee

Summer is Here! With the summer here, it is important to remember that we may take a vacation from our jobs or school work, but not from our faith. Please remember to go to Mass when you are away - go to masstimes.org for local Mass schedules - and bring back a bulletin (it's always good to see what other Churches are doing).

Ask Father Paul: “Why did you run in the Parish Bulle-tin the same Question-and-Answer two weeks in a row?” Because you did not submit new questions. Maybe you or someone else had one in mind, but it was not written down. I depend on you. The Parish Question Box was opened, but was empty. Just put your question in the Box or hand it to me. Not every question will benefit everyone enough to put in the bulletin. But if you discover that your question has not been answered after a reasonable period of time, I will be happy to give you personally an answer to your question, just let him know.

A Special Thanks to all of you who helped Father Paul move and

set up the rectory.

READ THE BULLETIN TO KNOW WHAT’S UP!

Prayer for Vocations God our Father,

You made each of us to use our gifts in the Body of Christ.

We ask that You inspire young people whom You call to priesthood and consecrated life

to courageously follow Your will. Send workers into Your great harvest

so that the Gospel is preached, the poor are served with love, the suffering are comforted,

and Your people are strengthened by the sacraments.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen
