Chapter 1 Innovation

• What is weighting scale? It is measuring instrument that determines the weight and mass of the object.

• Where it is used in industries and commercial application for weight-ing the products.

• When it was invented? No clear records of its invention. But there is say that is say that it is existence from ancient period of trade activities.

• The balancing instrument invented and later on the lists of weighting scales

• Electronic weighing systems are used in industries and business es-tablishments for weighing and segregating materials accurately for process sales. The main advantages of an electronic weighing system when compared with mechanical weighing systems are:

(a) Compactness and small size independent of capacity.

(b) Ruggedness and high dependability.

(c) High speed of response and rapid weighing.

(d) Good accuracy.

(e) Excellent flexibility to monitor multiple loads.

(f) Analog and digital with print- out facility remote Indication and Parallel display.

The electronic weighing system comprises the basic load cell, suitable signal conditioners and output recorders/ indicators giving both the ana-log and digital output for further processing. The signals from the load cell are amplified and fed to analog/digital converter, which provide an output in the digital format for display/printing/processing etc. The strain gauge based load cell is the most popular weight transducer used in the electronic weighing system.

Then get information about the project and its instrument so we de-cided, search the website for information of project.

When the fault in Battery charger, then checks the transistor also tran-sistor is Break. Then change the transistor. So this problem is solve

• Display cutting fault When we the wire is connected to the display, If change the transistor.

So this Problem is solving.

• 7.2 o/p Battery Charger

This fault is created; Break the capacitor c1 in charger circuit. The ca-pacitor c1 is change so This Problem is solved.

• Calibration Apset Fault This fault is created two types (1) The overload weight put at Loadcell. and (2) Fault in programming set and in this problem programming is reset and then problem is solved.

• See the Loadcell error in display This Problem is created because fault in microcontroller IC 8051.

Change the microcontroller IC 8051. So this problem is solved.
