Planning Table Definition:- Long Term Planning is the tool used to predict or forecast the future requirement and procurement activities of future based on projected sales or production plan. Plan is made in inactive version through demand management. Entire LTP is run with a scenario reference. LTP scenario contains the details of Planned Independent Version to be considered for LTP, what stocks to be considered as opening stock, whether to consider the firmed existing procurement proposal etc., are maintained in the planning scenario. Objective :- Creation of scenario for LTP is explained in this document and one will be able to create LTP scenario with this document. Prerequisites:- Production Plan Menu path :- Logistics Production Long-Term Planning Planning scenario MS31 - Create

1. Press Twice MS31 Create. Create Planning Scenario

2. Maintain the following data:

Field Name Values Planning scenario

Enter value in Planning scenario. Example: 10

Planning scenario

Enter value in Planning scenario.

3. Press Enter . Create Planning Scenario - Control Data

4. Enter 2 in the Opening stock field. Note: Current plant stocks will be considered as opening stock in long term planning. 5. Press checkbox Consider sales orders .

Note: Any open sales orders will be taken into account in the long term plan. 6. Press checkbox Switch off planning time fence

. Note: The planning time fence defined in the material master will be ignored. 7. Press checkbox Include firm recpts . Note: Actual production and purchase orders will be included in the long term plan. 8. Press checkbox Include firm purchase requisitions

. Note: Actual purchase requisitions will be taken into account. 9. Press checkbox Include firm planned orders

. Note: Any firm planned orders in the operative planning system will be taken into account for long term planning. 10. Press Plants Button . 11. Press New line Shift+F1 Button .

12. Maintain the following data:

13. Press Confirm Button . Create Planning Scenario - Control Data

14. Press Plnnd indep. reqmts Button . Planning Scenario - Assigned Planned Ind Reqmts Versions

Click to create entries 15. Maintain the following data::

Field Name Values Version Enter value in

version.

From and To Enter from and to date for version.

16. Press Confirm Button .

17. Press Release + save Button . Release Planning Scenario

18. Press Yes Button . Create Planning File Entries ;;

19. Press Immediately Button .

20. Press SAP Easy Access

21. The message bar displays Planning scenario 010 was released and saved
