SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENT DE PAUL

A Case History from the SVDP Files

Some years ago, a parish family with four school-age children needed assistance. A neighbor had brought their situation to the attention of the Society. The father was recuperating from a recent heart attack and was unable to work. Their only sources of income were disability payments and a low income wage the mother received from a part-time job. The Society provided needed food on a weekly basis and also helped with their utility payments. Transportation to medical facilities was provided when needed. After some required surgery, the father’s health improved and the family was able to resume a normal life again.

St. John Vianney School News

The school office is open from 8 AM to 12 noon. School will reopen for students on Wednesday, September 5, for all grades.

All tuition contracts must be completed and returned to the rectory. Tuition payments begin in August.

Don’t forget to purchase your Scrip during the summer months. It is available for purchase Monday through Friday at the rectory.

Space is still available in some classes for Pre-K to Grade 8. Please call the school office for more information.

We wish all of our students and their families a safe and happy summer. See you in September!
