FROM THE PASTOR'S DESK The Lord Jesus offers each one of us the gift and power of his Holy Spirit. He wants to make our faith strong, give us hope that endures, and a love that never grows cold. He never refuses to give his Spirit to those who ask with expectant faith. Jesus instructed his disciples to ask confidently for the gift of the Spirit: "If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spir-it to those who ask him!" (Luke 11:13). Do you thirst for God and for the abundant life he offers through the gift of his Spirit?

VBS 2018 Vacation Bible School will be from June 27 to June 29, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m. This is very important to our children and our parish at large. We intend to cover “Prayers, Games and theme “Parachute with the Angels”. We request all the parents to cooper-ate with us and register your children “TODAY”. The Director for VBS – 2018 is Viridiana McQuade.

ATTENTION COORDINATORS We request all coordinators to make sure that everyone in your group have gone through the Safe Environment Pro-gram. This is the order of the United States Bishops Conference; therefore, it is mandatory to all who are involved in any activity in the parish. It is the re-sponsibility of every coordinator to en-sure that everyone goes through the Safe Environment Program. Thank you for taking up this responsibility.

There are counseling services now avail-able through our parish. Working in Part-nership with Our Lady of Lourdes, Cath-olic Charities Fort Worth will begin providing counseling services at our par-ish on, assisting individuals and families: Through the challenges of raising a child, Resolving marital conflict, and Coping with depression, anxiety, and the stresses of daily life. Counseling sessions will be available at Our Lady of Lourdes every other Thurs-day afternoon from 2 - 6. Services are available in both English and Spanish. Let us help you find hope and healing:
