Newport Polo Club. Brasil will make its debut this Saturday, September 17th at 4pm in the Newport International Polo Series, a highlight of its 20th anniversa-ry season. The match features USA vs. Brasil on the polo grounds of historic Glen Farm at 715 East Main Road/Rte.138 in Portsmouth, RI. Competing for Brasil will be Luiz Matarazzo, Rodolfo Curbelo, Marcelo Jun-queira and José Catejon from the Sao Paulo region, where the largest concentration of polo is played in Brasil. The Polo Series has hosted 25 nations over the years, England, Ireland, Scot-land, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, India, New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Argentina, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Barbados, Canada, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, and debuting this summer are Kenya and Brasil. The polo matches will run continuously every Saturday from June through Sep-tember. The Polo Series takes place in the bucolic setting of Glen Farm, the last 100 acres of what was once a 700-acre manorial farm whose settlement dates back to the 1600’s. Its classical stone barns from the Gilded Age and its park-like grounds were
