The Town suspended Spring 2020 programs and classes (with the exception of
the Mayor’s Fitness Challenge) on March 13 as an effort to slow the spread of
the coronavirus in Prosper.
The 2020 Mayor’s Fitness Challenge ended April 15; 65 participants turned in tracking sheets. All participants will be recognized at a future Town Council meeting, where a drawing for a Fitbit will be held from completed tracking sheets. Virtual games hosted especially for the Seniors/Active Adults community included Bingo, Trivia Time and Texas Forty-Two via Zoom account. Games drew approximately 30 participants each week. Instructional videos contributed by Prosper Instructors and posted on social media to encourage fitness and movement.
