New UI Requires Framework Folders be used

Folders_g

• Still supported in 11.1.1.8 if migration to framework folders & new UI not desired.

Both folders environments cannot be deployed at the same time

11.1.1.8 can be configured to deploy the new WebCenter Content user

interface in addition to the native WCC 11g user interface.

i.e. Both UI’s can be used at the same time

New Web UI is a WLS deployed app in front of Content Server services

The WebCenter Content user interface will reside in a separate domain from

Content Server.

Initial release of the New UI will have limited support for Customizations

11.1.1.8 will have customization support for
