SwimSchoolLearn to Swim Intensive Swimming LessonsOur popular intensive swimming lessons run for 2 weeks: week 1 x 4 days, week 2 x 3 days. This allows the children to focus on improving their swimming on consecutive days. These classes will run over two weeks in the April school holidays.Due to public holidays we are running a promotion if you attend both weeks. We are offering a 10% discount if you book and pay for the 2 weeks. This equates to $11.70 per lesson. These classes are great for retention of new skills learned, and are thoroughly recommended by our teaching staff. Our school holiday programs starts on 14th April 2014. These intensive weeks of swimming lessons are suitable for those children wishing to maintain lessons over the Winter Holidays or for those wishing to fast track their progression through our program.

SwimSchool

Coaches CornerIt has been a very busy term for squad swimmers at the PLC with most local school carnivals now complete. On top of this hectic school schedule, our swimmers have had great success at the summer NSW State Age & Open Championships, and the NSW Country Championships. It was great to see so many medals come out of these meets, with all swimmers demonstrating how strong the PLC is at the moment. Particular congratulations goes to Kayla Holmes, Rachel Wood and Myles Bailey who each won gold medals at these events. As well as being busy in the pool, our nippers have been just as exciting in the surf at the State Titles, held at Umina Beach. Our swimmers dominated the other clubs, with State Champions coming in the form of Jemma Smith, Rachel Wood, Mimosa Henderson and Lachlan Braddish. It was great to see all our squad members do so well in the surf. With the local water polo season entering the finals series, we would like to wish all those taking part good luck. It was great to see the Woy Woy U12s win the minor premiership, and we will be cheering them on as they chase premiership glory.

Swimmer of the termA big thumbs up go to Corey Ricaud on being awarded our swimmer of the term.Corey started swimming with us in September 2007 as a starfish 10. He has consistently progressed through the levels, reaching Dolphin level this term.Corey is very proud of this achievement, working extremely hard to get this far. Well done Cory, looking forward to seeing you next term.
