The aim of the project is the design of the square and the attention is based on the way to dialogue with the waterfront., the

church and the shopping street.

The project define a dynamic area in con-trast with the regularity of the beach. Whe-re are the barriers it’s not possible to flat-ten the sand: like in a Zen garden but in reverse. The monolith is the only building on the waterfront. Now this one is a conti-nuos beach that enter in the square,so, in

the town.

Gaia Hypothesis _ James Lovelock It’s a controversial ecological hypo-thesis or theory proposing that the biosphe-re and the physical components of the Earth (atmosphere, cryosphere, hydrosphere and lithosphere) are closely integrated to form a complex interacting system that maintains the climatic and biogeochemical conditions on

Earth in a preferred homeorhesis. It’s based on the idea of “Negative feedback”

where cause and effect interact. Gaia life for its mutability grazie and it oppo-ses the parasitism (typical of the thecnological society). Humans modifide the environment to satysfide their requirements; Gaia thwards it.
