Nicolaus Copernicus was an astronomer.

He discovered that the sun was in the center of the universe. This was also known as the heliocentric theory.

He wrote a book called De Revolutionibus Orbium Coelestium.

The book shows the alternative model of the universe to the Ptolemaic system.

Heliocentrism is the theory that the sun in the center of the solar system.

In the 16th century Copernicus presented a mathematical model of the heliocentric system.This became a major

religious problem. People thought it was against some of the scriptures in the bible.

Finally we shall place the Sun himself at the center of the Universe. All this is suggested by the systematic procession of events and the harmony of the whole Universe, if only we face the facts, as they say, 'with both eyes open'. –Nicolaus Copernicus This Quote is talking about his

theory of how the sun is in the center of the universe and at first people didn’t believe him but now that they finally do he is proud. People are finally realizing the truth and “opening there eyes” to what he has been saying for so long. They also are realizing it is not going against the church.

Cell phones are used for many different things. People mostly use them for calling people but over the years they have advanced so much. There is so much more you can do on your phone these days.

Now there are so many more things you can do.

Cell phones are important for many parents to keep in touch with there kids.

They are also important to contact your friends for making plans.

Now that cell phones have GPS and web they are important when travel or getting information.

They can be important to people who don’t have cameras, when they want to take a picture. Most cell phones now have cameras in them.

Some people find it important for them to have music.

In 1908 Nathan B. Stubblefeild started to create the cell phone using “cave radio” telephones. It was then later invented in 1947 by Bell labs who are engineers at AT&T. When researchers realized they could create a small mobile phone using cells. They got this idea from looking at car phones.

On April 3, 1973 Martin Cooper created the first hand-held mobile phone used outside a car environment.

The Nordic Mobile Telephone system was online in 1981 which started a very high use in mobile phones.
