There were 132applications submitted tothe SAT regarding stratadisputes in the 2009-10
financial year.Mr Angus said this figure highlighted
only those applications that went throughto final determination.
“Unfortunately, SAT does not keepstats on applications withdrawn or those
that wereresolvedthrough earlymediation.”
Mr Angus’book looks athow muchresidents own,how to resolveconflict withneighbours andhow to improvethe performance of our strata companies.
“These are all relatively straightforwardquestions but unfortunately, there is nocentral advisory centre in WA that peoplecan go to for information and advice onstrata titles,” he said.
“This book aims to be a practical ‘go to’reference book to plug that gap.”
