Revelations a Study. Part 3.Chapter 13:1 threw 13:18, The beastThe beast as described in scripture is the anti-Christ, or as God calls him the Assyrian.

Many believe this is Satan but the Scriptures state otherwise. Lets take these next fewverses and break them down.

Rev 13:1 And “I”=John, stood upon the “sand”=the edge of humanity, of the sea=man, and saw a “beast”=anti-Christ, rise up out of the “sea”= man,having “seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns.”seven heads = 7Mountains, ten horns = Ten kings, seven crowns =7 Kings., and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. Animals attributes are always used in scripture to describe the attributes of Godand a man. The key words that we are looking for in prophecy are, “was like”,“were as” &“as the”, these words should indicate to you automatically that an animal is only a medium

to describe something else.

Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a “leopard”=who has great vision, andhis feet were as the feet of a “bear”great power,, and his mouth as the mouth of a“lion”=power to devour: and the Â“dragon”=Satan, gave “him”= anti-Christ,“his power, and his seat, and great authority”= Satan's powers are given to the anti-Christ.[Ref; Dan_7:6, Dan_7:7; Hos_13:7; Hab_1:8 Psa_22:21; Isa_5:29; Hos_11:10; Amo_3:12;2Ti_4:17; 1Pe_5:8]

Rev 13:3 And I saw Â“one of his heads” = Mountain{Kingdom} Eze 30:24 And I will

strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly woundedman.as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wonderedafter the beast., The beast will take by force 3 kingdoms and the other 4 will capitulate.[Ref; Rev_17:10, 2Th_2:9-12.]

Rev 13:4 threw Rev 13:7 are best described by Daniel, this is the time of great confusionand deception. Please read the description by Daniel. Rev 13:4 And they worshipped thedragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is

like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies;and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, andhis tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them:and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. [Ref; Dan_7:21,




Dan_7:25, Dan_8:24, Dan_8:25, Dan_11:36-39, Dan_12:1]We are going to get into the full meaning of Daniel concerning Revelations, in our nextstudy.

This verse is one that is used by many to show that the Church will still be here during the 7year Tribulation period. Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of theworld.Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with thesword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints. [Ref;Isa_33:1, Isa_26:21]

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns likea lamb, and he spake as a dragon. [Dan_7:8, Dan_7:24, Dan_7:25; 2Th_2:4][Mat_7:15; Rom_16:18; 2Co_11:13-15 Rev 13:12] Rev 13:11continued; And he exercisethall the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwelltherein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. The most exciting thingabout the Bible is that every thing, ever verse, every chapter ties together. these next fewverses help explain Rev. 13:11 threw 13:18. “2Th 2:3

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come afalling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that isworshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.2Th 2:9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs andlying wonders,2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because theyreceived not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe alie:

2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in

unrighteousness.” “The son of perdition”; is not saying that the anti-Christ is the son of Satan but that he has all the attributes of Satan. The largest part of Chapter 13 of Revelations is self explanatory.Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven onthe earth in the sight of men,Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles whichhe had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that theyshould make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. These




next verses explain Rev 13:13 threw 17.

Lets Read. Dan 11:31 And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice,and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate.Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and theabomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninetydays. Mat 24:15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of byDaniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receivea mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

There are many different interpretations of Rev 13:18, Numerology doesn't work, nor is it aresurrected man, that is against scripture. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understandingcount the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundredthreescore and six. The number 666 is a mans name in the pure Hebrew dialect which Godsaid that He would restore to the people of Israel. To guess on the name would be non

constructive. So I must leave it the way it is for now. end section 10.

Revelations A Study. Section 11.Chapter 14:1 threw 14:20, The hundred forty and four thousand preach the Gospel to theJews, Rapture of Saints and destruction of wicked. Rev.14: threw 14:7. Revelations is a book of absolutes. Many of the verses in chapter 14 are self explanatory. I have introducedexplanation where needed. Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb{The Christ} stood onthe mount Sion [A name of Mount Hermon. Most Holy Mountain of God.]{Heb 12:22 Butye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city[Jerusalem,City of David] of the living God,

the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,}, and with him anhundred forty and four thousand{The Sealed Jews of Israel}, having his Father'sname{Jehovah} written in their foreheads. There are many that believe that Armageddonhas nothing to do with Israel.

This is because they fail to research the prophecy of the old Testament. The Land of Israel isthe land that Satan and the Anti-Christ must obtain to stop prophecy from being fulfilled.We will expand into that area later in our studies, countries, maps and areas.




Rev 14:2 threw 14:7 is self explanatory. Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as thevoice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpersharping with their harps:Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts,and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These arethey which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from amongmen, being the firstfruits{First congregation of believing Jews} unto God and to the Lamb.Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before thethrone of God.Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel

to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue,and people,

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and thefountains of waters.Babylon is two places in Revelations, The physical and the Spiritual. In Hebrew writingswhen a name or should I say subject is mentioned twice that indicates that it happens twice.The first was the fall of Physical Babylon in the Old Testament. Rev 14:8 And therefollowed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she

made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. [Ref; Rev_16:19,Rev_17:5, Rev_17:18, Rev_18:2, Rev_18:3, Rev_18:10,Rev_18:11, Rev_18:18-21;Isa_21:9; Jer_51:7, Jer_51:8, Jer_51:64, Rev_11:8, Rev_17:2-5, Rev_18:3,Rev_18:10,Rev_18:18, Rev_18:21, Rev_19:2; Jer_51:7; Eze_16:15-22; Nah_3:19]

Thesecond is both spiritual and physical.The spiritual side concerns, false, doctrine, teaching, preaching. The physical side is anactual city of earth that John explains later.Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship

the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,These next two verses; 10 & 11, show the punishment of Hell. Rev 14:10 The same shalldrink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of theholy angels, and in the presence of theLamb:

Revelations a Study. Part 4.Each part of Revelations leads into the next section. Prophecy must beutilized to get the full meaning. In this section we will be using many

references and comparing scripture with scripture. I want to look at the Nations that Revelations speaks of; Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive thenations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where thewhore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four

quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: thenumber,(454,900,000 (EU-25)) of whom is as the sand of the sea.Revelations speaks of a great number that will gather together as the sands of the sea. Today we find the European Union trying to ratify a compact with allmembers and prospective members. This would form a single Nation larger and stronger than the United States.

There are currently 25 member states in the European Union. Together withtheir dates of accession, these are:Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland,France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta,

Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Solvinia, Spain, Sweden, UnitedKingdom.Acceding countries Bulgaria, Romania.Candidate nationsTurkey, Norway, Switzerland, Croatia, Ukraine, & Republic of Macedonia.Probable Members; China 1,306,313,812, Russia 143,420,309 Withholding

Nation United States 295,734,134 Total 2,200,368,255. This does not includeother non-aligned Nations nor will it ever include Israel

Lets compare Joel with Revelations.

Joe 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holymountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORDcometh, for it is nigh at hand;Joe 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and astrong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it,even to the years of many generations.Joe 2:3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: theland is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolatewilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Joe 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and ashorsemen, so shall they run.Joe 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap,




Revelations A Study. Section 13.Chapter 17:1 thru 19:3, The judgment of the great whore that sitteth uponmany waters. The anti-Christ, to try to defeat Jesus must take as many

kingdoms as he can by force, to gain a great army. He also knows prophecy but still try's to change it. Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angelswhich had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither;

I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon manywaters = :peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.Rev 17:2 = A false sense of Power.Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit = not in body, into the

wilderness = of man: and I saw a woman {Dan_7:23;} sit upon a scarletcolored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads = sevenmountains = seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yetcome = {Dan_12:4, Dan_12:8-10; Hos_14:9; Mat_13:11, Mat_24:15}; andwhen he cometh, he must continue a short space, on which the woman sitteth.and ten horns = ten kings.

Rev 17:4 = Earthly Riches.Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY,BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS ANDABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. = False religion. This introduces us tothe one world religion that many Kings are speaking of today to help stopwar.Rev 17:6 thru 17:7 are Literal and self explanatory.Rev 17:8 The beast = Satan, that thou sawest was, and is not = Satan is

present but without power.; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and gointo perdition = Hell [Ref:Mar_9:44;] and they that dwell on the earth shall

wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from thefoundation of the world, when {don't let this next line confuse you. Satan atthis point “was” “But without Power”,”But His day hasn't come yet.”,}they

behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Rev 17:11 thru Rev 17:14. Literal and self explanatory. The Ten Kings are theKings, of this moment, of the ten kingdoms of the old Roman Empire. Which




you have already been given a list. The anti-Christ makes war on tenkingdoms, he takes the first three by force and the other seven capitulate.Giving the anti-Christ power over all 10. And the beast that was, and is not,

even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shallhate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire. [Very important References; Eze_16:37-44,Eze_23:45-49; Dan_2:40-43, Dan_7:7, Dan_7:8, Dan_7:20,Dan_7:24;Zec_1:18-21]Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and

give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, whichreigneth over the kings of the earth. This last verse indicates that it is Rome.Why? Look at the wording; “great city”, which “reigneth” “over the kings of the earth”.Rome in scripture is always mentioned having great power and vast rule. Inearly Roman History, the Pope of Rome ordered the Idols of Babylon, to beremoved and brought to Rome and be re-dedicated to God. This act wasagainst Scripture.

Babylon, that mighty city. Rev 18:1 thru Rev 19:3 areliteral and self explanatory. “I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see nosorrow.” “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen” ”the merchants of the earthare waxed rich”Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of

pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood,

and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most preciouswood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, andwine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses,and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing,




saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships inthe sea by reason of her costliness= the quality possessed by something witha great price or value! for in one hour is she made desolate. The next question

most people ask is,”What City is Babylon?” Babylon is not only a city but areligion. If we look close at the description of the city we can eliminate 99%of all countries of the world.

There are three distinct interpretations of what the city is. The First is,Babylon Iraq, which still stand, thou in great ruin. The second is Rome withher control of religion in many nations of the Earth. The Third, which I

believe is most likely, is New York City. The Trading Center of the World.

New York sea ports, financial institutions, N.Y.S.Exchange, NASDAQ, etc.and trade centers. We will get into greater detail on the city in our study of Daniel. end section 13.

Revelations A Study. Section 14.Chapter 19:4 thru 19:10, the marriage supper of the Lamb. These verses areliteral and self explanatory. I will add no interpretation to them just a fewreferences. Rev 19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts felldown and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

Rev 19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all yehis servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.Rev 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as thevoice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying,Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth.

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriageof the Lamb is come, and his wife [the church] hath made herself ready.[ Rev_21:2, Rev_21:9; Psa_45:10-16; Son_3:11; Isa_62:5; Hos_2:19,Hos_2:20; Mat_22:2; Mat_25:1-10; 2Co_11:2; Eph_5:32and his: Isa_52:1]Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen,clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.




Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called untothe marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the truesayings of God.

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, Seethou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have thetestimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of

prophecy.




Revelations Pt. 5.The Apocalypse.Revelation 6:2-6:8.I will bring thee down, saith the LORD.

Revelation: Something disclosed, especially something not previously known or realized: disclosure, exposé, exposure, and revelation. Apocalyptic eschatology ismarked by the conviction that God will intervene decisively in the present evil ageand vindicate his suffering elect over their oppressors, raising the dead, consigningthe wicked to eternal destruction, and establishing a new creation. In the Bible,apocalyptic elements are present in the books of Ezekiel, Isaiah, Joel, Zechariah,and Daniel.

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; the rider on the white horse has manyinterpretations–one is that he represents Christ;[This view has its skeptics thou, for the rider on the white horse was Given aCrown, meaning that He had no power until after it was given to Him, as with theother three horsemen, the second point here is that whenever Jesus is mentioned,He is always mentioned having a Sword and never a bow. This is my interpretation

of this.], the rider on the red horse is war; on the black horse is famine; and on the pale horse, death.

The Apocalyptic nature of man has come from years of indecisiveness in theworshiping of the creature instead of the creator. The spiritual battle ground isIsrael and especially Jerusalem, lets read; Tuesday, July 27, 2004 TEHRAN (AFP)- Iran will wipe Israel "off the face of the earth" if it dared to attack the Islamic




republic’s nuclear facilities, a spokesman for Iran’s powerful RevolutionaryGuards was quoted as saying. "The United States is showing off by threatening touse its wild dog, Israel," the public relations head of the Revolutionary Guards,

Commander Seyed Masood Jazayeri, was quoted as saying by the Iranian studentnews agency ISNA.Rev 6:2-8; And I saw, and behold a white Horse: and he that sat on him had a bow;and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come andsee.

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him thatsat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and

there was given unto him a great sword. Here we see that the writer John, statedthat he saw a Great Sword, not just a sword. A great sword is to signify, greatdeath was inevitable.And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see.And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances inhis hand.

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny (An average daily wage, penny,

not to be misunderstood, At this time a days wages will be needed to sustain foodfor the people); and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. Olive Oil (trees) andGrape wine (Vineyards), two main commercial staples of Israel.And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say,Come and see.And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death,and Hell followed with him. (Death was the rider but after the rider came Hell,speaking of the destination of those who met Death.) And power was given untothem over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and

with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

If you notice in Revelations 6:2-8 , there are the words ; power or crown was givenunto, them, him, and orders of see thou hurt not the oil and the wine, who wasgiving these things power, crown and stipulations of what to leave unhurt? God.Because of the totality unrighteousness of man, God will have His day of Vengeance.




Rev 6:16-17 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from theface of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: [God is theone on the Throne and Jesus is the Lamb] { But Jesus is not returning here in the

tenderness of a Lamb but as a roaring Lion and Vengeful King of Kings.} For thegreat day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? Fire and smoke,mingled with blood, none will be able to stand, all of mans posturing and greatswelling words will fall on deaf ears as the Son of God breaks thru the eastern sky.

And the elements shall melt with a fervent heat.Many still today are saying that a righteous God would never destroy men,

because He loves us. This is a misconception on their behalf. Gods’ word is trueand not a lie. His prophecies will come to pass and His judgments on man are

righteous judgments. Blood will flow to the bridle of the horse for 200 miles, thisis fact and a promise from the Almighty.Death, Hell and the Grave are never satisfied, they always hunger for more andmore, and only thru Jesus can we escape the torment that is to come upon a lostand unrighteous world. Hell enlarges its boarders daily, and is never satisfied andnever complete.

Idle threats from man have never nor will ever concern our Lordand savior, but man is headed for the Apocalypse with swift feet and greed in His

heart. The blood will flow and the beasts of the fields and the fowls of the air willdevour the bodies of many. An Eagle is a bird of prey as are the vulture and others.They shall be filled with their flesh.
