Cancellations made more than one week prior to the start of class will be charged a $5 processing fee for a refund
or may elect to roll over the full amount to another class.
Cancellations made within 7 days will only be allowed to roll funds over to another class.
Cancellations and rollovers are not possible within 48 hours of the start of the class.
If minimums are not met, the class will be cancelled and students will be given a full refund.
Participants in these workshops acknowledge that photographs taken by Gallery Staff may be used for marketing
purposes. Participants not willing to be photographed must notify Gallery Staff prior to the start of class.

• Paints: Your favorite watercolor paints, including cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, prussian or thaloblue, cerulean blue, cadmium yellow pale or cadmium yellow medium, yellow ochre, cadmium red,and burnt sienna
• Optional Paints: “exotic” colors such as opera pink, magenta, violet, Holbein turquoise, cadmiumorange, cobalt violet, permanent green, and thalo yellow green
• Brushes: 2” flat wash brush, 1” flat wash brush, #8 round, #14 round, #26 round
• Palette: The palette should have a large mixing area and large wells. Bring several styrofoamcups or plates with a high rim for pouring the paint.
• Paper: Four half sheets of quality watercolor paper (like Arches 140lb. cold pressed); four “failure”paintings on half sheets for practicing techniques.
• Board: (Masonite, plywood, foamcore, etc.) and large clips or push pins to hold the paper flat
• Reference Images (side light works best): Bring 810 images of people, faces, buildings, florals,simple landscapes. Bring images that don't take long to sketch.
• Additional Items: Two water containers, sketchbook, #2B pencil, kneaded eraser, sponges (1“elephant ear” and 1 new kitchen sponge), painters tape, exacto knife or scissors, stiff toothbrush,hairdryer, box or block to elevate board 2”or more, roll of paper towels, drop cloth or newspaper
• Optional: Small container of margarita or kosher salt, tracing paper pad (approx. 14”x17”)
