Simulation in medicine, is an evolving phenomenon after being successfully used in

Aviation, military and sports. These techniques are used to replicate and amplify

real life situations with guided ones. Practicing on simulation modules helps you to

climb the learning curve, identify your lacunae and practice and perfect your skills

without harming the patient.

Following a well appreciated program" The World of Simulation- A curtain raiser"

a few months ago in collaboration with Dr. D.Y. Patil Hospital, Navi Mumbai, AMC is

now geared to create the hands on experience modules in different specialties for its

members.

In the first of the series of Simulation workshops, at the Simulation Laboratory of

the hospital we invite you to come and have this world class experience. As an

obstetrician you will be taken through clinical scenarios, the details of which have

been deliberately not revealed as per the standard practice of simulated training.

These scenarios are the clinical challenges that you all face in complicated cases.

The course offers you a hands on training without the risk and yet you will feel like

you are going through a real life situation. It will be a learning experience and a

refresher course for you at any stage of practice. Some of you may like to send your

can possibly promise, and at a highly subsidised rate.
