Initialize Plugin:

0) Level prefix will be added to the front of all prefixes.

1) Step run. Typically 250mm. (except first and last step run)

2) Drop box where can be select rises or exact number of steps needed.

If Rise selected then 2a(rise) will be available and 2b(number) not

and if number selected then vice versa.

3) Last step width, can be any length but not greater than from tab A number 4 (stringer

arm) length. Minimum length = 50mm.

If you leave text box empty then tab A number 4 (stringer arm) value will be taken.

If last step width is greater than step run (on tab A, number 1),

then required stiffeners will be added automatically, underneath last step.

4) Both Stringers arm length start from last step nosing point.

5) Drop box with (Yes, No) Yes to create or No to do not create landing at all.

6) Landing Z position.

7) Temporary graphic will generate a dimension base on picking points and based on tab A

number 2 selection. In example below total rises = 9.

8) Last step lip, can be used from 0mm to required length. Zero will not create a lip.

typically 30mm and max value = step. rise.

9) Drop box, Position of the Stair can be

Middle, Left, Right.

10) Width of the stair is from outside stringer to stringer.

11) Step edge can be changed to exact shape (rounded

corners) or sharp edge. If you wish to use exact shape

please confirm first from your line Manager or

fabricator, is it ok to use. It might effect NC files.

11a) Text box, stringer offset from step nosing. From 0mm to 50mm max. standard value is 25mm.

12) This option will be available when from tab A number 20, T3 or T4 selected to flip the fixing

down angle. If auto option selected then plugin will decide the angle side, you can force to

plugin with Yes or No.

13) This option will be available when from tab A number 20 T3 selected, to turn Off or On fixing

down angle.

14) This option will be available when from tab A number 20, T3 T4 T5 selected to change the

position of fixing down angle. Leave text box blank for auto positioning.

15) This option will be available when from tab A number 20, T3 T4 T5 selected to change the both

Stringer legs height.

16) First step face length can be from 10mm to required length. If value is less than 10mm then

default 30mm value will be taken. Can’t be greater then tab A number 15(stringer leg).

17) Stringer offset from first step nosing point, from 0 (zero) to max value equal to number 11a.

18) First step width, if from tab A number 20, T1 T3 T4 and T5 is selected first step width should not

be greater then number 1 (step run) but it can be greater if T2 is selected.

19) Drop box, Stringer type can be changed if from tab A number

20, T2 is selected. If you need to use second type of stringer

then on tab A number 18 (1st step width) value should be

greater than number 1 (step run) value + 50.

20) Combo box contains main control of the first step types,

Type T1 is mostly used from floor to floor.

Typical standard detail.

If you use this type and leave bottom connections on from

tab C number 33 then you don’t need to worry about flush

cut with stringer, will perform automatically.

Type T2 is mostly used from floor to floor with an extended

first step or last step.

If first step width is greater than step run (on tab A, number 1),

then required stiffeners will be added automatically, underneath first

step.

Type T3 is mostly used for concrete slab with welded first tread.

Typical concrete detail with full length angle.

Angle is optional to use this type from Floor to Floor.

Angle size can be change on tab E number 57.

Type T4 is mostly used for concrete slab with removeable first tread.

Typical concrete detail with full length angle.

The rigid angle or plate will be inserted automatically

according to the space between 2nd step face

and the removable angle.

standard rigid angle size is RSA50*50*6 and plate

size is PL6*50.

Angles are welded to the stringers.

standard angle size is RSA75*50*6

Type T5 is mostly used for concrete slab. removeable first tread.

Typical concrete detail with side angles.

The rigid angle or plate will be inserted automatically according to the space

between 2nd step face and the removable angle.

standard rigid angle size is RSA50*50*6 and plate size

is PL6*50.

Side angles are shop bolted to the stringers.

standard angle size is RSA75*50*6

Type T6 is mostly used for concrete slab with welded first tread.

Has holes in first tread aligned with fixing down angle.

. Steps tab contains all controls about steps, like Step type creation and properties.

21) First step thickness will be available when removeable steps are selected. From tab A number

20, T4 and T5 is selected (removable step types). Typically first step thickness is 6mm.

22) Steps bending can control from this value, leave this text box blank to apply the standard value.

For standard value see Sigmat Detailing manual. Rotation angle can be used between 73 to 90

degree.

23) Combo box with Yes, No to allow to bend first step face or not.

24) All steps thickness. Typically 3mm.

25) All steps name.

26) Typically concrete steps with 50mm depth, depth can be changed. It will be available only

when from tab B number 27, 2nd option is selected.

27) Combo box with three different type of Treads.

I. First one is standard Folded tread type.

II. Second one is concrete type, typically 50mm depth

III. Third one is CP board tread. Board thickness is by default 25

Fixed, not changeable and CP board will be inserted as well.

CP boards has 4 No. screw per tread and CP board fitting.

CP boards are part of the assembly.

28) Hanging over tolerance can be changed when from tab B Number 27, 1st

type tread is selected. Standard value is 10mm.

29) Combo box with four option to create or do not create first and last steps.

I. First option allow to create both steps.

II. Second option will not create first step.

III. Third option will not create last.

IV. Fourth option will not create both, first and last steps.

.Parameters tab contains Stringers types and Top and Bottom connections.

30) Text to change the profile of top connection (number 32). If you leave text box blank default

profile is RSA70*70*6 or 160AC60 and if you change Landing main beam (1) to I beam the angle

will be calculated automatically.

31) Button to load the profile from Tekla profile catalogue, for top connections.

32) Combo box with three options for top connections.

I. First option is to use both side angles or plates.

II. Second option is full length asymmetric channel or can be plate.

III. Third option is to not create connection at all.

33) Combo box contains same controls for bottom

connections as number 32 contains for top connections.

34) Button to load the profile from Tekla profile catalogue for bottom connections.

35) Text to change the profile of bottom connection (number 33).if you leave text box blank default

.Landing tab contains all control about landings except do not create landing at all that is

available on Main Picture (A) tab number 5.

Warnings:

1) Button to load the profile is not load properly custom profile types (Sigmat Profiles)

need to type manually or copy paste.

Tips:

1) The UI form is resizable. If you have changed the size and wish to re-enable the standard

size, do it by double-clicking on background in any tab.

1) New first step type has been added T6

2) The profile of the CP board has been changed to 25 and all the relevant properties have been

updated including 4 No. Screws per tread.

3) Bottom Cleat, Level prefix and part properties are available, if need to assign differently.

1) T4 cleat was not welded to the stringer this is now fixed.

2) Standard landing profile was MF-StairHeader now 160AC60 is standard profile.
