A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further.

So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon.

The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings.

The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.

Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly.

What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us.

We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly!


What About The Pain Pills And NSAIDs For Arthritis?You don’t have to be like the millions of Americans taking drugs to treat arthritis and joint pains. •High blood sugar•Loss of bone density•Glaucoma•Menstrual problems•Mood swings•Weight gain•High blood pressure•Water retention

NSAIDs AND PAIN RELIEVERSNon-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, or NSAIDs, and pain relievers are the most popular choice among people with arthritis. However, these types of treatments which include aspirin, ibuprofen, and naproxen sodium often require ultra-high doses. In some cases, these drugs fail to offer any relief at all. Side effects from NSAIDs include:•Ulcers•Internal bleeding•Deadly drug interactions

FISH OILThis is by far the safest choice. In many cases, it works best with other healthy treatments, like exercise. There’s nothing magical going on here – fish oil is effective because it can help treat both inflammation and pain; not one or the other. As for side effects, there is know known dangerous side effects.Here’s are the most important findings from published studies:

•Fish oil reduces inflammation•People who supplement with omega-3 fatty acids experience less joint tenderness•It reduces the need for corticosteroid treatments & NSAIDs•Omega-3 actually fights the enzymes that destroy cartilage in osteoarthritis

The smell of wet beach towels or used bath towels can sometimes be really bad. Often, the smell is caused by mildew that is tough to get rid of. Your best bet is to keep towels from becoming moldy in the first place. Mildew odor in towels and clothing is being transferred from the washer.

The washer needs to be cleaned first or the odor will return! There are washer cleaners available. Some are even all natural and will also remove towel mildew smell. After the odor is cleaned from the washer then it’s time to concentrate on removing mold odor from towels and or clothing.

The Vinegar Method:

1. Put your towels in the washing machine, using the hottest water available. Add one or two cups of white vinegar. Do not add detergent, fabric softener, or any other products at this time. Run the washer.

2. Leave the towels in the washer and wash the same load again just as you would normally with laundry soap. Again, use the hottest water available. Don’t use fabric softener or any other products.

3. Dry the load in the dryer using a high heat setting. Towels should be thoroughly dry when you pull them out. If they’re not dry, put them back in, or move them immediately outside and hang them in the sunlight.

How to Remove Mildew Smell from Towels

Tips:

• Avoid getting towels moldy in the first place by hanging your towels to dry right after you have used them. This is especially important with bath towels. Use that towel rack in your bathroom!

•Wash your towels immediately after use. It is especially good to throw your kitchen towels in the washer on a daily basis. Not only does this prevent mildew from getting started, but also helps to keep germs down. Frequent washing and drying of kitchen towels will prevent mold and mildew from forming in the damp towels.

•Once they are done in the wash cycle, remove your towels from the machine immediately so that any microorganisms continuing to cling to the fibers of the towels will not fester in the humid and airtight environment of your closed washer, which is a perfect place for molds to grow.
