Information Technology (IT) Solution

The Information Technology (IT) solution used in the implementation and development of the CountrySTAT system is the “PC-Axis Software Suite”. The PC-Axis software package serves as the engine of the system.

serve as a platform for coherent, efficient, and user-friendly dissemination of statistics a Windows-based software

can be freely downloaded in the web http://www.pc-axis.scb.se/pcaxis.htm

requires a license from Statistics Sweden when it is used for disseminating statistics either in CD-ROM or in the Internet

requires no expertise in relational database management requires approximately five days of training
