Stephen Ministry
FUMC’s Stephen Ministry is a part of an interde-nominational program of
trained church members who offer their time to those who are going through difficulty. Care receivers benefit from a confidential, weekly visit with their Stephen Minister, who is matched by the same gender. Access to this care is provided via pew cards in the sanctuary or on the information table in the fellowship hall, by speaking to one of our pastors, or by calling the Referrals Coordinator (Velda Williford at 443-3005) for more information.

“Love Does” Summer Dinner & Study (Based on the book
by Bob Goff)
Extravagant love takes action. It's big and bold. But what does extravagant love look like? What can result from that love? Extravagant love adopts a child in a foreign country while leading his attacker to Christ. Extravagant love literally lifts you off the ground, and much, much more! Let's explore together with dinner and fellowship!
6-7:30 p.m.
July 19 - Fellowship Hall August 23 - Fellowship Hall
Dinner - $5/per person
Childcare provided.
Sign up for one or both of these sessions!

Engage Sunday School Class
Looking for a place to come and grow in Christ as a family? Come check out the Engage Sunday school class! For the month of August, we’ll be meet-ing in the annex and we’re bringing our families with us! The children and youth classes will not be meet-ing, so this is a great opportunity to come with your family to hang out with your church family. All lessons and activities will be geared to include everyone from our youngest guests (yes, bring your baby with you) to our oldest (grandma is welcome, too). Come as you are!

The anthem, All Who Love and Serve Your City, is an arrangement by our Director of Music/Organist, Bill Wood. The text is by Erik Routley (1964) and is set to an early American hymn tune, Charlestown, from the United States Sacred Harmony collection of 1799. The text and tune are also found in The United Methodist Hymnal at No. 433.
