Danielle Mottram of The Green Gekko will be speaking about her interesting health journey and why she started up her business promoting toxic free products. Jean Stasse (nee Pannell) and Alain Stasse of Sweetwater Essentials will also explain their experiences that have led them to decide to turn to natural solutions for their health needs. HOSPITAL AUXILIARY MEMBERSHIP: Annual Memberships of $5 are now due. Several current Members will be in the Co-op next week on Wed, Thurs and Friday (August 16th, 17th 18th) to renew Memberships and take new ones. Thank you for your support. The LCDC is looking for community members who are interested in caring for the land. We are also on the lookout for environmental and conservation projects that will continue to enhance and improve the agricultural quality of our district. All are welcome to contribute and join our pro-active organisation. MENTAL ILLNESS FELLOWSIP OF WA MY RECOVERY SNAPSHOT COURSE: The Snapshot My Recovery Program provides people an opportunity to learn about mental illness, mental health and recovery. Session times 10:30am to 2:00pm each Tuesday commencing 29th August 2017 for 4 weeks at the Quairading CRC the cost is free and lunch is provided. Hadlow W/O and Janine and Lisa had a fabulous tussle with Lisa coming out the winner on the 18th hole. Next week we play the semis. MEN'S GOLF: Quairading held its Men's open day on Saturday 5th August. In a field of 55 for the Dolin Cup our local golfers did feature prominently, with Lugs (check his handicap) Logan winning the Dolin Cup with a massive 68pts, and S Wilson coming second with 60 pts. K Johnson came r/up in the gross with 50 gross pts. The 18 hole Primaries 4ball had 72 in the field. The nett winners & r/up were from York, but locally K Johnson & S Wilson won the gross on 67 gross pts, & T Bond & G Logan came 3rd in the nett. This weekend is our favourite 'bisque par' Quairading Motel Trophy. JUNIOR BADMINTON: Runs Tuesday afternoons from 2.45pm-4pm, $25 for the term, all equipment supplied, Ages from PP through to high school.
