Background

• The Swedish Transport

Administration took initiative of a

preliminary study.

• Center for showing te transport

benefits to general public, transport

industry and governmental

stakeholders through active

interacting.

• Suggestion to create an innovative,

national, central located facility

called Transport Science Center.

Purpose and Objective

• To create a unique national center,

called the Transport Science Center

(TSC), where transport development

and the benefit for the citizens will be

presented in an interesting and

compelling way.

• TSC will also be a meeting place for all

stakeholders, a public arena for

dialogue on social development and

knowledge sharing.

• Joint Center managed by industry,

public sector and academia in co-

operation.

• Active participation in TSC

activities and exhibitions.

• Exciting and attractive

destinations for the public.

• Knowledge transfer by

surprise, and own practical

experience on site.

benefits of their products and how

they can be used practically.

stakeholders with focus on transport

development and community

building.

one can in-house clarify his case

The way forward

• Dialogs with the prospective

stakeholders.

• Discussions about a suitable land area

for TSC.

• The design and room functions will be

determined later, depending on the

location, construction and contents.
