Tuttu to TenThis unit came to be through interacting with
K3/K4 students as we rode the bus with them to and from school. We found these young students loved to look for and count the caribou on the way.
What began by simply learning to count singles and groups of caribou and the concept of how many, transformed into discussing the importance of caribou to our families. We began by looking at what was important to
