UGro,premium quality coco

UGroCoco is a range of high quality coconut substrates that is peat-free, biodegradable and eco-friendly. It is designed to help you achieve best results with rooting, growing and flowering while caring for the environment. Using UGro will help you reduce your carbon footprint and preserve peatlands, home to many rare organisms and a vital habitat for birds, dragonflies and plants.

UGroCoco has many natural properties that guarantee the best conditions for your crop :

• It has excellent water retention and airing properties that help the root system and the plant to grow faster.

• It is naturally rich in trichodermas harzianum, a microorganism that prevents root rot and stimulates the growth of your plant.

• Because it is washed in salt-free water, it is free of pathogens, odours, stones, roots and other impurities.

All UGro products are buffered. They have been treated with a solution in order to reduce the Potassium and Sodium levels. This ensures that the fertilizer you will use is directly available to your plants.

The raw materials we use come from plantations that are located far from the Indian coast, in a salt-free environment, avoiding any contact with saltwater. This guarantees low EC levels in all our premium quality products, pack after pack.

Moreover, the UGro products are easy to dispose once they have been used. If you have a home compost bin you can leave the coco in it. Or if you prefer you can allow it to naturally decompose in your garden. It’s that easy!

UGro is the perfect growing medium for both beginners and expert gardeners.

UGro offers two types of structures, UGro Standard and UGro Mix3, created for all types of cultures and with no variation in quality. Both have a low EC level and are buffered that to achieve an optimal absorption while keeping the pH stable.

Mix3 structure

• Made of 40% of cocopeat, 30% of 10cm long fibres and 30% of chips of a maximum size of 1 inch. It has a lower water retention but a greater air retention, leading to better roots respiration.

• Higher watering frequency than the UGro Standard due to a better drainage and less water retention.

• Lower volumetric performance than the Standard structure: 1kg of substrate produces 13 litres of hydrated coco.

• Long lifespan. It can be reuse for a greater amount of cultures. • Recommended for long-term/permanent crops.

Mix3 Structure

Plug RhizaPlug Rhiza has the same properties as Plug and has been enriched with endomycorrhizae. Plug Rhiza comes in a package of 24 discs. Its packaging has been designed to facilitate storage and preservation of the coco discs.

PlugPlug are small 38 mm discs of pressed and dehydrated cocopeat with a low percentage of fibres, wrapped in a thin paper sleeve. It’s an ideal solution to get started with your crops. Plug is supplied in bulk, 1000 discs per carton.

SmallSmall is a 650-gram brick of pressed and dehydrated coconut coir in small particles, with a low percentage of fibres. With 4 litres of water it yields up to 11 litres of high quality cocopeat. Our traditional coconut substrates has been enriched with endomycorrhizas to create a new mix that will take good care of your plants.

Thanks to a symbiotic association with the roots, endomycorrhizal fungi provide extra nutrients and moisture to the plants. They grow as thin filaments that penetrate cell walls, thus forming an extension of the plant root system. They also improve the plants ability to tolerate diseases and pests. It is a non-buffered substrate, that is made from organic certified raw material and OMRI listed. With 28 litres of water it yields up to 70 litres of high quality cocopeat. UGro Pot is a convenient, smart and money-saving solution as you don’t need to buy a flowerpot. It is also designed to achieve highest profitability. Each bag has a specific size that allows to optimise the quantity of plants you can grow in a square metre. For example, Pot4 goes 49 units (7 rows of 7 bags) per 1 m2. Pot9, 25 units (5x5) and Pot60, 4 units (2x2).

UGro Cube is an easy way to start growing your seeds. After a while you might consider expanding your crop and take it to the next level. Use the UGro Slab.

Cube + Slab is a smartsolution

1) Hydrate the Cube with 160 ml of water to obtain 800 ml of high quality coco substrate and start growing your seeds.

2) Cut plant holes in the upper part of the plastic wrapping. 48 hours prior to planting saturate the Slab with 10 litres of water. Once the substrate is fully rehydrated cut drainage holes at the base of the Slab.

3) Place your Cubes on top of the Slab, aligned with the plant holes.

Pure AirPure Air is a 50 litre bag (±5%) of coarse structure cocopeat with a low percentage of fibres. This substrate is uncompressed. Its structure remains super coarse, thus providing improved air retention properties. You can directly plant into it, with no need to use any treatments or special agents. Advantages of Perlite

Perlite is a white volcanic mineral with many useful properties. It provides excellent aeration and drainage, while ensuring good water retention. Combined with cocopeat you archive a balanced growing medium for your crops.

Pure MaxAirPure MaxAir is a 50 litre bag (±5%) of medium structure cocopeat with a low percentage of fibres enriched with perlite. Pure SuperiorPure Superior is a 50 litre bag (±5%) of medium structure cocopeat with a low percentage of fibres. It is enriched with bat guano, endomycorrhizas, perlite and worm humus. You can start growing immediately. No need of adding fertilizers during the first couple of weeks. Your crop will benefit from natural properties of this mix.
