UPWARD BASKETBALL Coaches are needed for the upcoming season. The first training opportunity is Saturday, November 10 at

9:30 a.m. It’s not too late to sign up to play. Final Evaluations will be held on Saturday, November 10, from 11:00 a.m.– 12:00 p.m. Sign up before October 31 to avoid the late fee.

FROM THE SEARCH COMMITTEE The search committee appreciates the prayers and support from the congregation. We are still receiving resumes, but have narrowed down the list of current candidates and are receiving additional information from them.

KIDZONE WORSHIP (PRE-K THROUGH 4TH GRADE)

God helps us obey Him. We study about Balaam’s talking donkey this week. Children will worship God through their

obedience to Him and praise Him for helping them obey. Join us when the KidZone logo is seen on the screens.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Start bringing your packed shoeboxes… all boxes are due by Wednesday, November 14, or bring to the Packing Party on Saturday, November 16, at 10:00 a.m. and help pack even more boxes. You can purchase needed items from the Amazon Wish List at https://goo.gl/Ezh7VA, donate to shipping costs on the Samaritan’s Purse website at https://fundraise.samaritanspurse.org/

fundraiser/1681821 or click on the rotator link on our website, parkwaybaptist.net, for easy access to both.

DEACON NOMINATIONS Nominations for deacons will be taken through today, October 28. Please prayerfully consider who you will nominate then use the form in your bulletin and place it in the offering plate. Men who are currently serving are listed on the insert and do not need to be nominated.

2019 CHURCH BUDGET The proposed 2019 budget was mailed to Parkway members on October 23. Copies are available on the information rack if you did not receive one. This proposed 2019 budget will be presented for discussion and amendment at the church conference on November 4, 6:30 p.m. and will be voted on, without discussion, during the morning service on Sunday, December 2.

BENEVOLENCE FUND OFFERING

Today we observe the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper. Please consider giving to the offering for

the benevolence fund that will be taken after the service as you leave the Worship Center. This fund is used to meet the many needs within our church family and our community as directed by the Benevolence Committee.

your son into becoming a godly man. Geared to all boys ages 7-17 and their dads or dad figures. parkwaybaptist.net or at the Welcome Center. Cost is $10.00. Today is the last day to purchase tickets.
