Fin Plan context – course Los, why, special things about it Through ePortfolios students have the opportunity to: reflect upon their learning and professional capabilities and compile a digital portfolio of evidence of the relevant skills and experiences accumulated during their learning and professional work. This is then used to assist the student develop appropriate learning goals and outcomes. have their learning capabilities and experiences assessed showcase their learning and professional achievements through a curated repository. the developmental component will provide learners with the opportunity to develop their learning through regular self-reflection, communication and feedback between the learner and the teaching team. the assessment component will allow learners to demonstrate their performance against the nationally agreed Accounting Threshold Learning Standards. the showcase component will allow learners to demonstrate their achievements and exemplary work for employability.

It covers the financial planning process and its implementation, and develops an understanding of the economic, political, social and legal environment of the Financial Planning Industry. The unit provides an overview of the broad range of investment products available and their application to general investment strategies. The unit also considers issues relating to superannuation, estate planning as well as risk management and insurance, and provides students with an understanding of their necessity in the financial planning process.
