The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults is pre-paring to begin the fall sessions.
If you’ve been coming to Mass for a while, but are not Catholic, we invite you to look deeper into the Catho-lic faith. Or if you have been baptized but not con-firmed, you, too, are invited. Come meet some faith-ful Catholics who love the Lord and would consider it a privilege to get to know you.
Our parish will soon begin a set of sessions to share with others the truths of the Catholic faith and the fel-lowship of our church family. We invite you to learn what Catholics believe in an open and welcoming en-vironment. These sessions also are opportunities for you to ask those perplexing and difficult questions you may have about the Church. Sessions are held on Sunday mornings at 8:30.
The first session is September 8, 2018 in the Lourdes Room. Please give Marty and Sue Charney a call if you have questions or would like further information at 419-865-7252, or contact the Parish Office.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Our Lady of Lourdes Conference
Summer is here!!! Vacations, sports activities and lately, beating the heat. Through it all, your Society of St. Vin-cent de Paul continues on with its mission of helping those in need. The people we serve in many cases can’t afford vacations, sports activities, etc. They can barely afford to keep their electricity on or even stay in their home. This is where your help and your generosity has been a true work of God. You, as parishioners, donated $1,684.00 to our neighbors in need in May. Combined with our checkbook bal-ance we were able to share $2,600.37 to help 36 families (81 individuals) in the month of May. Remember, you have many options when you donate to our ministry and mission of serving the poor who live within our parish boundaries. Here are just a few: Use the envelope that is in your contribution packet.
Put a dollar or two in the basket after Mass during Charity Weekend (usually the first weekend of each
month).
Sign-up for the Kroger Community Rewards Program by going to: krogercommunityrewards.com and enter our organizational code 21730. This does not affect your fuel points.
If you purchase items from Amazon, sign up for the Amazon Smiles Program and designate OLOL, St. Vin-cent de Paul.
Consider making an annual special contribution over and above what you presently are donating. We are a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible.
In the words of Pope Francis: “To love God and neighbor is not something abstract, but profoundly concrete: it means seeing in every person the face of the Lord to be served, to serve him concretely. And you are, dear brothers and sisters, the face of Jesus.” From the 18-member St. Vincent de Paul Society, we wish you a very safe and enjoyable summer!
