Congress enacted the ARCTIC RESEARCH POLICY ACT in 1984
Develops a national Arctic research policy and
a 5-year plan to implement the policy
Promotes Arctic research and recommends an Arctic research policy
It established the Arctic Research Commission and the IARPCand required them to:
