Students are chosen for this award based on their academic effort as well as the positive traits they exhibit on a daily basis. Parents, siblings, and one guest were invited to the award presentation this morning at 7:30 am. Middle school staff spoke about each recipient, and they were presented with a certificate. The winners for sixth block, pictured to the right, are: Kayde D. 7th grade and Rowan H. 8th grade. Congratulations! They will be seated officially on the board at the June Meeting and will serve a 3-year term! Help us congratulate them! Student of the Block At the end of each block, middle school staff choose a “Student of the Block” for each grade level. Students are chosen for this award based on their academic effort as well as the positive traits they exhibit on a daily basis. We offer exciting week-long summer camps at Woodrow WilsonAcademy, located in Westminster, CO.

 

Think Tech provides a variety of discounts for multiple student registrations. We do our best to maintain competitive rates and these fees do include camp consumables and a camp t-shirt.

Think Tech is hands-on with a 5:1 student/teacher ratio.

All camps are unique per session (students who do attend multiple weeks of camp will progress through many di�erent activities and will rarely find themselves repeating activities week-over-week)

Please note that lunch is not provided for full-day attendees but monitored recess/break is provided from 12-1pm

EXPLORE STEM Camp for Girls AND Boys entering 6th – 9th Grades

Focus: Computer Science (CS) Innovating creative solutions to everyday problems is a key element in the growing field of Computer Science. These solutions can extend beyond the form of blocks of code to utilizing physical objects in unique and interactive ways. During this camp, participants will form connections between computer programming and everyday objects using the Makey Makey invention kit, a tool that can transform

common items into a functioning keyboard, a controller, or any interactive system. Camp participants will use creativity to develop their own inventions!
