Wohler’s AMP2-16V is the most advanced and operator friendly 16-channel audio management device

on the planet. Use modular I/O to assemble, label, cluster, monitor, meter, mix, route, loudness-limit,

and embed audio into a 3G SDI stream. With the available, comprehensive Dolby® D, E, and DD+ upgrade

and loudness control options from Jünger and Linear Acoustic, the AMP2-16V will be the most useful 2

rack-units of kit in your system.

The philosophy behind the AMP2-16V is simple: take your time setting it up (there’s almost limitless

possibilities), and the front panel hot keys take care of the rest. The whole is idea is that in operation you

never have to see a menu. With front panel push-knobs to recall system-wide presets, solo and mute,

instantly analyze an encoded Dolby stream, and directly control the volume of individual audio channel

The AMP1-16-3G monitors 16 channels of audio from 3G/HD/SD-SDI and AES sources with loudness

display using ITU-R1770-1 algorithms and audible monitoring through a fully digital high-fidelity

amplifier system and speakers.

The AMP1-E16-3G monitors 16 channels of embedded 3G/HD/SD-SDI and AES audio, while the

AMP1-E16-3G includes DOLBY-E, DOLBY-D, and DOLBY Digital Plus capability. You can select all the

channels for simultaneous display and concurrently monitor them on an innovative OLED screen that

A significant feature of the multiformat AMP2-E8-3G is the ability to process and monitor up to eight

channels from a DOLBY E or AC-3 (DOLBY Digital) bit stream, an 3G/HD/SD-SDI bit stream, two sets of

four AES/EBU signal pairs (balanced and unbalanced), or eight balanced analog channels.

The AMP2-E8DA audio monitor is a complete, exceptionally high-quality audio monitoring solution

The VTR and V*DA Series monitors were designed to work in-line with—surprise!—VTR’s, that

traditionally record and play back four channels of audio. With the three models in this category

covering analog, AES/EBU, and SDI, these summing monitors are, of course, ideal for any environment

Every new RM HD monitor provides much more than just faithful rendering of formats up to 1080i60/30p. Each HD/SD-SDI monitor can display 8 channels of VU over PPM audio level meters per screen, in-monitor labelling, safe areas, cropping, switchable aspect ratios, as well as built-in color bars and a full suite of familiar CRT-style picture controls.

Additionally, the RM HD single input per screen models provide an active re-clocked loop-through SDI output, while the -2HD models have dual SDI inputs per screen. Every setting is accessible from front panel controls and the RM’s intuitive on-screen menu. Simply put, there is nothing else quite like them.

Originated in the U.S., EIA-608 was one of the first closed captioning standards developed for analog NTSC television, in which the data is carried in the overscan of the video signal. The newer EIA-708 standard written for ATSC digital and HD television can be transported in what’s called VANC-a separate data stream not embedded directly in the video that has a much higher bitrate capable of transmitting far more data.

After 30 years, Teletext, the PAL broadcast standard, is still widely used in Europe and other PAL-based countries. Benifiting from a number of revisions over the years, it has many more features beyond closed cap-tions, such as emergency alerts and programming guides.

Originating in Australia, OP-47 is essentially the VANC implementation of WST.

Building a Better Broadcast.

In 1987 Will Wohler founded Wohler Technologies in his garage with the goal of providing compact,

convenient audio monitoring equipment to the broadcast industry. The company’s entrance into the

confidence monitoring arena was marked by the release of the world’s first stereo in-rack audio

monitor, the AMP1A, which became the industry standard. In 1997 Wohler began providing the same

level of quality, space saving equipment for video monitoring with the first in-rack video monitor.

Other innovative solutions followed including, platforms for monitoring digital audio, Dolby (AC-3)

signal, and high-definition video solutions like the award-winning Touch-It line.

For more than two decades our solutions have evolved to meet your needs. Today, our engineering

team is continuing their hard work with products such as the AMP1-16 Series which offers an

innovative modular design with user-friendly configurations.

Manufactured in ISO 9000 and 9001 certified factories, Wohler products are made with the greatest

care to guarantee stability and performance. Our strict testing procedures include two levels of tests

for each product. Nothing leaves our factory without passing our cosmetic quality control as well as

pretests for calibration, audio, and resonance. These rigorous manufacturing policies have resulted

in an extremely low return on products: less than 1% of audio products and less than 2% of video

products are sent back for repairs. Not only is every product created as an innovative solution,

but with every monitor you buy we can assure you that your confidence will never be questioned.

1. SCOPEA. Unless otherwise provided, sales are made on the terms and conditions contained herein and, to the extent of any conflict, these terms and conditions take precedence over any terms and conditions which may appear on Buyer’s order form. WTPDTV shall not be bound by Buyer’s terms and conditions unless expressly agreed to in writing.B. All WTPDTV Products are offered for sale as commercial Products only.C. All verbal orders and change orders must be confirmed in writing by the Buyer.D. No order shall be binding until it is accepted in writing by WTPDTV.

2. PRICESA. WTPDTV prices do not include any federal, state or local sales, excise or use taxes. Any applicable taxes will be billed by WTPDTV as a separate item on the invoice unless Buyer provides a properly executed exemption certificate prior to shipment.B. WTPDTV prices do not include on-site installation assistance. Any required certification and/or inspection specifications, which are over and above WTPDTV’s usual quality control practices, are subject to negotiation prior to compliance.

3. DELIVERYA. Unless otherwise specifically provided: (1) delivery shall be made F. O. B. Hayward, California; (2) title and risk of loss shall pass to Buyer upon delivery to freight carrier; (3) Buyer shall be responsible for all transportation and insurance charges. (4) Insurance charges will be added to the invoice unless specifically excluded by Buyer in writing.B. If the Buyer does not specify routing instructions, the selection of shipping method and routing shall be at WTPDTV’s discretion.C. WTPDTV will make every reasonable effort to meet delivery schedules but assumes no liability for damages of any kind for delays in delivery. Delays in delivery shall not relieve the Buyer from his obligation of performance.

4. WARRANTY STATEMENTA. With the exception of pixels, as addressed in Section 4.B of these terms and conditions, WTPDTV warrants that the equipment it manufactures is free from defects in workmanship and materials and meets applicable published specifications. Equipment which has been operated within it’s ratings and has not been subjected to mechanical or other abuse or modification and has failed because of such defects, will at the option of WTPDTV, be replaced or repaired if it is returned freight prepaid, to WTPDTV within two years from the date of shipment for Wohler products and 12 months for all other Panorama products. Equipment that fails under conditions other than described herein will be repaired at the price of components and labor in effect at the time of repair.B. For purposes of maintaining reasonable costs, WTPDTV warrants that all LCDs and video monitors sold will be free of dead pixels on the center third of the screen and have no more than 3 dead pixels outside the center third of the screen, with no defective pixels within 5 mm of each other. WTPDTV warrants pixels for a period of up to 90 days from shipment while it warrants functionality and workmanship as defined above in 4A.

C. This warranty does not cover claims resulting from customer misuse, transit or courier damage, application of incorrect voltage or use of incorrect power supply, application of incorrect signal, abnormal environmental conditions, modification to the unit, or failure to observe the correct maintenance procedures outlined in the manual.D. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. WTPDTV is not liable for any consequential damages.

5. SOFTWARE / FIRMWARE LICENSEA. For the purpose of these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply: “Software” means one or more programs supplied specifically for use with the WTPDTV Product.B. “Firmware” means one or more programs incorporated into a WTPDTV Product and fixed in hardware or other non-volatile memory.C. WTPDTV grants to it’s Buyers a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use software and firmware with the related WTPDTV Products in the configuration in which that Product was sold by WTPDTV or subsequently upgraded by WTPDTV.D. This license is subject to the following restrictions: (1) Buyer may not disassemble or decompile any part of the software or firmware; (2) Buyer may not modify or copy the software or firmware except as needed to operate the Product; (3) Buyer may transfer the software or firmware only upon the transfer of the interest in the Product; (4) This license confers no title, ownership or rights in any associated source code.

6. EQUIPMENT RETURNSA. Before equipment is returned to WTPDTV for repair or any other reason, a Return Authorization number must be obtained from the WTPDTV factory. WTPDTV assumes no responsibility for unauthorized returns.B. Due to changing technology standards and component end of life issues, under no circumstances will WTPDTV issue any authorization for equipment returns for products more than six years past their original shipment date.C. Freight charges for the return of equipment for repair under the warranty shall be the responsibility of the Buyer. Return freight charges shall be paid by WTPDTV.D. Freight charges both to and from Hayward, California, for equipment to be repaired outside the warranty shall be paid by the Buyer.

7. GENERALA. Buyer is solely responsible for obtaining any required authorization from the Federal Communications Commission and for compliance with its regulations, and for obtaining all necessary federal, state and local permits.B.
