Coloring Contest Rules:This year as part of Earth Day, The Environmental Center is holding a coloring contest. There are two different pictures to choose from - a wolf and a lynx. Entries must be received at 16 NW Kansas Ave. by Tuesday, April 17th. There are three categories: Elementary School; Middle School; and High School.

Entries will be on display during the Earth Day Fair on Saturday, April 21. Winners will be announced on Earth Day, Sunday, April 22. The winners in each category will win a $25 gift certificate to Jackson’s Corner. You may use any medium you wish - crayons, markers, paint, etc.

About the Artist:Monica Helms is a Bend, Oregon artist specializing in traditional fine art, painting, and illustration. Monica designed this Earth Day piece to showcase plants and animals that are either extinct, endangered, or a species of concern here in Oregon (with a focus on Central Oregon).
