Prayer of Confession

Generous God, whose giving knows neither measure nor end, We confess that all too often we have kept our own hearts, hands and minds firmly closed. Forgive us for those times when our own wants and wishes have filled the horizon to the exclusion of all else. Forgive us when we have been blind and deaf to the needs and concerns of others. Forgive us for those moments when we have been afraid to share what we have and kept silent and still when those around us are in need. (Silent Confession)

Kyrie Lord, have mercy upon us. Christ, have mercy upon us. Lord, have mercy upon us.

*The Passing of the Peace

The peace of the Lord be with you always. And also with you.

(Please be mindful that there are some who would prefer to exchange a smile and/or words rather than a handshake or hug during this flu season. Children are invited to come forward for the time with our young disciples at this time.)

. . . Therefore we join our voices with all creation to sing Your praises: Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might! Heaven and earth are full of Your glory. Hosanna in the highest! Blessed is He who comes in the name, the name of the Lord. Heaven and earth are full of Your glory. Hosanna in the highest! . . . Proclaiming the mystery of our Faith: Christ has died. Christ is risen. Christ will come again. . . .

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen.

Lenten Study. It is not too late to join one of our Lenten Study Groups: Wednesdays, 6 p.m. in the Parlor; and Tuesday evenings in the Killearn Lakes area. The study is The Walk by Adam Hamilton; books are available in the church office from Pam Mills. Cost is $16 for the book and prayer journal.

Lenten Sermon Series. We often pose our questions to God, hoping that God can answer any doubt or confusion that we may have. But there are many examples of Jesus asking questions too. He sometimes stumped those who challenged Him with a question. He sometimes challenged His disciples with questions. At times He even asked God questions. Through the season of Lent, we will look at many of these questions and explore the answers together.

Lenten Conversation Cards. Pick up a pack of Lent Conversation Cards from the lobby or by the stairs near the Parlor, and each day of Lent read the scripture and daily question and discuss together as a family.

Vacation Bible School is June 15-19. Registration is open at faithpcusa.org/vbs. Join us for Rocky Railway: Jesus’ Power Pulls Us Through! Spaces fill up fast, so be sure to register soon. It takes lots of adult volunteers to make VBS a success. You can see the opportunities and register as a volunteer at the above link.

Church Workday. Calling All Workers! Whether you are handy with inside or outside projects, please plan to join us for the Spring Work Day on March 21. There is a long list of sprucing up projects — something for everyone! We get started at about 8:00 in the morning and finish around noon, but even if you can only stay for an hour or two, your help is needed. Let’s pull together to get our buildings and grounds in shape and looking great.

Summer Mission Trip. Is God calling you to help our neighbors in Panama City, FL this summer? A group from Faith will be going to Panama City June 20-26. Check out the informational brochure in the lobby or online.

Easter Lily Orders. If you would like to order an Easter Lily in memory or honor of a loved one, please use the order form in the brochure rack in the lobby, in the church office, or online under Resources. Order deadline is March 29 and lilies are $10 each.
