The village of Seaton offers a wide selection of facilities within a short walking distance including waterside cafés, pubs, Seaton Valley Countryside Nature Reserve and local shopping facilities. In the adjacent village of Downderry there are further amenities including restaurants, pubs, shops, village school and doctors surgery. Seaton is renowned for its coastline together with access to the South West Coast Path.

The bustling harbour town of Looe not far from Seaton is one of Cornwall’s busiest fishing ports – from there you can take a cruise along the coast or to Looe Island and even a sea fishing trip. Alternatively, why not treat yourself to a traditional Cornish pasty or cream tea or sample the day’s catch of delicious seafood at one of the many excellent restaurants. Further along the coast is the fishing village of Polperro and the sailing town of Fowey.

South East Cornwall has something for all ages and tastes – from beaches to bird-watching, fishing to flying, golf to gardens, horse riding to hang-gliding, sailing, wind surfing or walking. All these and more are within a short distance of Seaton.
