Purpose: The 4th annual Faith At Work Gala Dinner and Conference helps Christians learn and apply biblical principles to their work so that God will be glorified and His kingdom expanded. This high-profile, annual event encourages a renewed emphasis on Christian values and ethics in the workplace. Distinguished speakers discuss how to work in secular jobs and still honor God. The Conference focuses on three things: 1. Eternal over temporal
2. Spiritual over material
3. Knowing and doing God’s will at work
Targeted Audiences: Christians who work - business professionals and executives, as well as church and community leaders. Community Outreach: Over one million impressions are made using news articles, direct-mailing to 100,000 homes and businesses, emails to 8,000 individuals, website, and print/radio advertising in both secular and Christian media in Southern California. A network of more than 100 church partners in Southern California helps provide ―word of mouth‖ and inter-church promotion. The Faith & Work Life webpage (www.faithandworklife.org) includes registration information, event background and purpose, list of event sponsors/partners and fellow Christian business organizations.
About Faith and Work Life ReThink Equip Transform Faith and Work Life (FWL), a nonprofit ministry, helps Christians address the issue of how to integrate their faith and their work. FWL is a discipleship and spiritual growth initiative that encourage Christians to re-think their work life from God’s perspective and then provides the tools and training to effectively work ―as to the Lord‖ (Colossians 3:23). Working with Christians in the workplace, workplace ministries, churches and colleges/universities, the goal is for Christians to become intentional and deliberate about applying a biblical worldview in their workplaces that honors God. As an equipping ministry, FWL provides speakers and workshops for churches, faith and work events, conferences, seminars, lectures, research, products, and curriculum. FWL is a resource that helps believers integrate their faith life and their work life, focusing on the practical application of biblical teachings to workplace matters. Christians are encouraged to live out their faith at work, thereby positively impacting workplaces, transforming work lives and influencing the culture for Christ. FWL also offers a special workshop at churches, ―How to Start a Business – Using Best Business Practices and Biblical Principles.‖ As a nonprofit, FWL relies upon the support, prayers and gifts from those who share this passion for integrating faith and work. Our Mission To equip Christians to authentically and purposefully integrate their faith and their work so that God is glorified and His Kingdom expanded.
