BTW National Geographic Geography Bee

The Tom Daniels Elementary Lego League Team, the Mus-tang Missioneers, worked hard all year preparing for the first Lego League robotics competi-tion, which took place in New Braunfels on Saturday, February 1st. The students won the Project Research Award and will advance to the Regional Competition at the San Antonio Convention Center on March 1st. The students competed against more than 200,000 students from more than 70 countries. The team constructed a battery-operated robot built out of Lego bricks and programmed to ma-neuver the Lego world, also designed by the team. The students had to solve several real world problems, including an ambulance rescue and a downed power line. Good luck to the Missioneers as they continue on to the next level of competition.
