These words are often used in job advertisements. Companies look for people who are:

self-starters, proactive, self-motivated, or self-driven: good at working on their own. methodical, systematic and organized: can work in a planned, orderly way.

computer-literate: good with computers.

numerate: good with numbers = able to do calculations

motivated: very keen to do well in their job.

talented: naturally very good at what they do.

team players: people who work well with other people.

or drinks there/fairly formal word/)

A shopper is someone who is involved in the activity of buying things from shop. A consumer is anyone who pays for goods and services. It is

used especially when you are talking about people’s rights. An user is someone or something that uses a product, service road users, computer /library. End- users the person who uses a particular product, rather

than people who make or develop it (when a company buys computers for its staff to use, the staff are the end-users.)

Buyers and sellers Buyer someone buys something expensive such as a house. Discounts for first –time buyers. A buyer for a chain store. Seller someone who sells something # buyer. Retailer / wholesaler a person or business that sells goods to

customers in a shop. Merchant someone whose job is to buy and sell wine, coal,

timber = lumber AmE or small company that does this: He had a job with an Edinburgh wine merchant.

Dealer someone who buys and sells a particular product, especially an expensive one. He’s a dealer in modern art. Trader someone who buys and sells goods or STOCKS BrE inventories AmE. Vendor someone who sells things, especially on the street. The market The market, the free market and market economy describe an economy system where prices, jobs, wages e.c.t are not controlled by the government, but depend on what people want to buy and how much they are willing to pay. Word combinations with ‘market’

forces the way a market economy makes sellers produce what pressures people want, at prices they are willing to pay market place producers and buyers in a particular market economy, and the way they behave prices prices that people are willing to pay, rather than ones fixed by a government reforms changes a government makes to an economy, so that it become more like a market economy
