To develop a definitive and authoritative register of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) that are authorised by

BIFM and are recognised ‘de facto’ as the industry standard.

Project aim

To provide a framework for the establishment of benchmarking activities.

To support initiatives from SIGs / Sector Forums to establish benchmarking clubs and

develop a series of ‘headline’ indicators to facilitate cross-sector comparisons.

Euro FM – Research Network

Network representing European FM Research interests.

Meeting in Vienna in September 2003 agreed to focus on host countries’ experience to

encourage understanding of impact of national experiences and culture on FM practice.

Next meeting in Budapest in January 2004

DTI PII Projects Review

Project aim

To review the DTI PII programme and CBPP demonstration projects to identify good practice and evaluate the value of the outputs from the

perspective of FM practitioners.  

The findings will be available in time for presentation at the BIFM Annual Conference

in March 2004.
