Frein, Stoos wed May 5Kacie Frein and Cody Stoos were married May 5, 2012.

The ceremony was held at St. Boniface Catholic Churchin Garner. A reception and dance followed at the BestWestern Holiday Lodge in Clear Lake.

Kacie is the daughter of Brad and Shelly Frein of Gar-ner. Cody’s parents are Steve Stoos and Kim Mahrt ofLeMars, Iowa.

Matron of Honor was Kayli Ytzen. The bridesmaidswere Kayla O’Shea, Shelby Beran, Emma Schleusner, JenDavis and Brandi Hanson. Flower girl was Amelia Ytzen.

Best man was Nick Hanna. The groomsmen were BenFrein, Levi Mahrt, Brady Juhl, Kyle Stoos and Codie Fet-ters. Ring bearer was Logan Stoos.

After a honeymoon to the Dominican Republic thecouple has made their home in Janesville, Iowa.

Students began the festival with chair auditions and arehearsal on the evening of Thursday, Feb. 7. The festivalcontinued with numerous rehearsals along with perfor-mances and master classes by UNI School of Music facultyand students. While at the festival, the students had theopportunity to attend a concert by the UNI Wind Sympho-ny and Symphonic Band on Friday evening. The festivalconcluded with a concert performance by the festival bandson Saturday, Feb. 9, in the Bengston Auditorium of UNI’sRussell Hall.
