regulations.Inaddition,studentswilllearntolobbyon

behalfoftheirclients,investigatefraud,dealwithMedicare/

Health Law Policy & Ethics

HealthLawPolicyandEthicsstudentswillbetrainedto

healthcarefacilities,orworkforthegovernmenttoreform

Health Law Business & Litigation

StudentswhotakecoursesinHealthLawBusinessand

Litigationwilllearnthebusinessofhealthcareinthe

publicandprivatesector.Studentswilllearnhowtohandle

mergersandacquisitions,taxlaw,employeebenefits,and

riskmanagementissuesforhospitals,HMOs,longtermcare

facilities,andinsurancecompanies.Inresponsetothe

Cleveland.Mypracticewasdevotedtoprovidingstrategic

taxadviceonmergersandacquisitions,assetpurchases,

privateequityinvestments,corporatereorganizations

andsimilartransactions.Regardlessofthenatureofthe

specifictransaction,thegoalwastoseethedealthrough

toclosing.Adealwouldnotclose,however,untilthe

investorwassatisfiedthatthetransactionwouldproduce

thedesiredreturnoninvestment.
