Referrals (LinkedIn Recommendations)!www.linkedin.com/in/ellieoconnor/ Ellie is an incredible creature of the interactive industry. She can be a creative, strategic thinker (crafting marketing plans, website audits, and analysis documents) or she can be a masterful technician (creating personas, user flows and wireframes). She is also a courageous leader who uses her voice to fight for "the user" and/or her team members. And she does it all with a big smile and infectious laugh. Sharing a cube and later an office with Ellie has taught me many things about the user experience and technical world, but more importantly she's taught me to be confident in my ideas, be passionate about what I believe in, and to always make time in my day for a good chuckle. As i've moved on from Information Experts, I certainly have days of "Ellie Withdrawal" but I've been lucky enough to keep her as a friend and as a colleague. This girl is going places! January 11, 2013, worked with Ellie at Information Experts, Inc. Elicia Potter User Experience Designer at Network for Good !I've worked with Ellie and reported to her, and she's one of the hardest working people in the business in either role. As a developer she was knowledgeable and innovative; as a manager she's always protected and fought for her people, looked for new and interesting opportunities to grow the business and our technologies, and pushed herself harder than any of us. December 11, 2012, Jonathan reported to Ellie at Information Experts !Ellie is an incredibly valuable and integral asset at Information Experts. Her technical expertise is exceptional, and her attention to the overall user experience ensures we build the most user-centric solutions possible. I feel very fortunate to have Ellie in the Information Experts family. December 5, 2009, Marissa Levin CEO at Information Experts, Inc.

Ellie teaching a Card Sorting technique to a colleague (left). Card Sorting exercises can help to identify complex information architecture and are one way to see how users group your products or approach content or features on your site. This can help to determine navigation schemes, better ways to organize content for your users and can also highlight issues that might be causing frustration.

Example: Usability direction and training

Hand drawings, collaborative design sessions, user testing and analysis—these are just a few of the tools in my UX tool box!
