Empower Pacific Employee Assistance Program (EAP) philosophy is to

provide an effective strategy to assist employees to:

EAP is an integral part of an organisation’s health and

safety practices.

IS THE PROGRAM

CONFIDENTIAL?

Any information regarding employees

who access the program will be treated

with strictest confidence.

Within the limits of respectful client

confidentiality, a reporting framework

which suits the organisation’s particular

needs will be agreed and established.

We will breach confidentiality only to

protect people if there is a risk of harm to

the client, another person or a child, or if

we are directed by a Court of Law to

release relevant case information.

Otherwise the personal details of clients

and the nature of their problems would

not be disclosed to anyone unless written

permission is given by the client.

HOW DOES EMPOWER PACIFIC EAP WORK?

Problems related to issues like drug and alcohol abuse, grief, relationship

difficulties, stress, and loss are likely to impact on an employee’s work

performance, team relationships and daily living. A referral needs to be

facilitated by the employer. Once a counselling referral is received by

Empower Pacific, an appointment time will be given for the employee to

attend the session.

Appointments are normally held at the nearest branch of Empower Pacific

within our working hours , but may be negotiated otherwise. In

emergency situations on-site services may be necessary.

FEES

Empower Pacific can provide a number of pricing options depending on the

needs and size of each organisation.

Options can include an Annual Subscription providing a basic counselling

and training service at a fixed annual cost. Alternatively Empower Pacific

can negotiate a per service cost for either counselling or training.

Counselling can be for individuals or groups in the event of workplace

trauma such as major incidents. Critical incident debriefing is also available.

Fees for training are negotiated depending on the type of program,

number of participants and location.

HELPING FIJI. Empower Pacific is a national non-profit charitable

trust providing services in Fiji and the Pacific.

Empower Pacific operates both corporate support

services and community charitable activities. When

you contract Empower Pacific to provide your EAP

you know that your money is also going to support

essential services to the neediest people in Fiji.

Our mission is to work with vulnerable

communities to address issues such as mental

health, child abuse, suicide prevention, poverty

alleviation and to promote social and economic

development.

For the last 10 years, Empower Pacific has been

engaged to provide training and EAP services to

corporate sectors including tourism, mining,

industry, banking, and universities. We have

covered international and local companies.

Earnings from this program are put back into the

community through Empower Pacific’s free

charitable services.
