STEWARDSHIP SUNDAY Today is Stewardship Sunday at which time we will celebrate our consecration of financial giving, making our commitment for 2020. After the message we will be invited to commit to the best of our ability our offerings for 2020. One of our greatest blessings is sharing what God has entrusted to us. We’ve never known for sure what the future will hold, yet as an act of worship we strive in faith to tithe. Thank you for your faithfulness and commitment.

CHRISTMAS DECORATING Next Sunday, November 24 immediately after Sunday school we will prepare for the Hanging of the Greens service by getting the decorations down from the storage area. Then on Monday, November 25 at 6:30 p.m. we will “pre-decorate” - placing the poles and candles and globes on the pews in the sanctuary and also by placing decorations that will not be incorporated in the service. We welcome all who can come and help prepare God’s house for the Christmas season.

HERSHEY PARK/GIANT CENTER “WORK” If you find yourself limited in your offering, consider working a Hershey Event. The hourly wages or proceeds are given as a contribution to our church, which goes to the ELEVATOR FUND. Volunteers earn Hershey Park tickets. For available shifts or to sign up, please see or call Marsha Gallo (717-426-2347).

THE UPPER ROOM for November and December 2019 is available in the narthex. Cost is $1.15 per copy.

What Do We Do About Racism, Classism, and Sexism in the Church? Monday, November 18; 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the PRC. $10 for PRC Members. Our societal struggles are reflected in our churches. This workshop will honestly address the issues and introduce resources and strategies for moving congregations away from maintaining, perpetuating, and protecting classism, racism, and sexism.

Inspiring Extravagant Generosity Tuesday, November 19; 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the PRC. $10 for PRC Members. Every congregation has financial stress at some point. Learning and teaching good stewardship and financial best practices are a fundamental part of spiritual leadership, and help to ease hard times.

Candlelight Restorative Yoga Tuesday, November 19; 7:00 to 8:00 pm at Grandview United Methodist Church. $8 for PRC Members. The holiday season can feel stressful and overwhelming. Quiet and calm yourself with a gentle, restorative yoga class. Restorative yoga emphasizes the centering of your breath and body. It allows you to slow down and open your body through gentle stretching poses in a restful atmosphere. Restorative yoga is very welcoming; the gentle poses won't overwhelm beginners.

WATCH NIGHT January 31, 2015 was the first year we had a covered dish supper and game night instead of a Watch Night service. If you would like to plan this event (supper & game night) for 2019, please see Pastor Brian.
