MARCH 2016
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
We had a great time at the After-Christmas dinner at Luciano’s thanks to Jack Swaney and his helpers. To those of you going to Walnut Creek, Ohio in March, have a safe and exciting weekend. Good luck to Joe and Acela DiSalvo on their move to Florida. We thank you for all the years you prepared the show booklet for the annual car show. Thank you, Sean O’Neill, for stepping up to take Joe’s place. It’s not too early to start planning summer car trips. I am sure there are places you would like to go and things you would like to see. See you in March. Michael

NORTH HILLS HISTORIC AUTO CLUB MINUTES February 21, 2016
On February 21, 2016, President Mike Quinn called the meeting to order following the Pledge of Allegiance. President Quinn inquired if there were any corrections or additions to the minutes of the Janu-ary 10, 2016 meeting. There were none. Joe Somerville motioned to accept the minutes and Phil Deakin seconded. Jack Swaney read the treasurer’s report. Current cash balance is $5,637.57. Jennie Barker made a motion to accept the treasurer’s report and Ken Barker seconded. Wellness Report Steve Illsley reported that he had heard Bob Zufall is suffering from a broken limb (arm, leg?). New Business 2016 rosters are available from Rick Kelley. Wednesday, May 4 will be the start of our lunch tours. September 11 picnic will be at His Kids School. The car show will be held Sunday, June 5. Since Joe Disalvo is retir-ing to Florida, Sean O’Neill will take over the car show book. Flea market - no information has been forthcoming regarding a new venue. Thanks to Jack Swaney (with able assistance from Jennie Barker) for his usual good job on the after Christmas party. There being no further business, Mary Jo Phillips motioned to adjourn. Respectfully submitted, Diane Otto, Secretary

A wife was curious when she found an old negative in a drawer and had it made into a print. She was
pleasantly surprised to see that it was of her at a much younger, slimmer time, taken many years ago on
one of her first dates with her husband. When she showed him the photo, his face lit up. "Wow, look at
that!", he said with appreciation,
"That's my old Ford!"
