• It consists of six historic counties: County Antrim, County Armagh, County Down, County Fermanagh, County Londonderry, County Tyrone.

• The centrepiece of Northern Ireland's geography is Lough Neagh.
Famous places to see in Northern Ireland
• Cave Hill Country Park is a large park which sprawls over part of the Belfast Hills providing spectacular panoramic views of Belfast city and beyond.
Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge
• Carrick Bridge (Carrick-a-rede rope bridge is the full name) is a popular tourist attraction on the Antrim Coast.
• The bridge was initially built by fishermen to check their nets.
