A previous Gold award winner for True Taste Food Tourism Destinationand crowned Pembrokeshire Tourism Premier Event in 2009/2010. Thisyear the festival is celebrating by hosting more than 200 family-friendlyevents around the coast and inland waterways.

Food lovers can enjoy shellfish extravaganzas, seafood Tapas, crab lunches,or just great fish and chips! With plenty of opportunities to sample and buylocally caught fish and shellfish or forage the seashores for a wild feast.

Top chefs Valentine Warner, Mitch Tonks, Bryn Williams, Mark Hix and AnthonyEvans will be showing their fishing and cooking skills at our midweekmasterclass. Plus cookery and preparation demonstrations with Duncan Lucasand Brian Terry.

Enjoy the beautiful coastline with a variety of river cruises, seashore rambles,kayaking and coasteering adventures or fishing trips.

Keen anglers can take part in several fishing competitions while there areplenty of opportunities for beginners to ‘just have a go’.

The programme casts off on June 25th with a food lovers and family day atMilford Haven Marina, where you can enjoy a carnival atmosphere alongsidefish and shellfish demonstrations, opportunities to taste many varieties of fishon the go, plus plenty for non fish lovers too, entertainment for all ages andmany varied stalls.

what’s on fish week exhibitionsFair Fishing & Less-fashionable Fish C3An exhibition at Scolton Manor that looks at sustainable fishing for the future; the fish that havefell out fashion with the British public and recipes for their revival on the dinner plate. Linked toHugh Fearnley Whittingstall’s Fish Fight, a national campaign to promote sustainable fishing, theexhibition will seek to expand on the selection of fish that we eat and promote the use of someof the lesser-known species of local fish currently being discarded as trash. During Fish Week theTearoom at Scolton Manor will feature dishes using these lesser-known species of local fish. The story of fishing at Neyland C5at Neyland library. The exhibition organised by Neyland Cultural Purposes Committee will belaunched on Monday 27th June and will run for a month.
