With nine years of experience in interior design and 3d visualization, i had gaina solid foundation of projects ranging from small to big scale turnkeys of various kinds and discipline.

Interior design is a career that i have grown with along my years in Dubai. It iswhere i discover what i really want to pursue for as long it takes.

I have done projects for Dubai government for every Dubai Summer Surprisesfrom 2002 till 2007. From exhibition stands to temporary amusements.

In 2007, i had the opportunity to re-design the interior of Dubai Al Nasr Clubas part of their expansion and beautification which includes the main building and the seating area.

2008 was a very good year for me for i got the commision to re-design a villaat Arabian Ranches which is owned by a high profile family who dominates the country’s biggest trade industry. It is where i got the oppurtunity to use high end materials and signature italian furnitures from Roche Boboise, StoneInternational, Natuzzi, Polyform,Bagno,Casa Mia, and most of the biggest names in the Italian furnishing business.

2009 is where i focused more in 3d visualization due to a certain demand thattime. I have gathered enough knowledge and library to use in my design andvisualization from then till present.

With the use of drawing and rendering programs, i had brought myself to wherei should be when it comes to my profession.

Although i use these drawing and rendering programs daily, i can still say thatmy freehand drawings, sketches and rendering is still in good shape.

From 2010 till date, i pursue the career of 3d visualization. I do big scale projectrenderings for our projects abroad. Most of our jobs are mainly in Afghanistanwhere my job is to provide renderings for housing, dining facilities and otherutilitiy projects for army camps based in certain countries.

The purpose of the extension is to create low cost apartments as a source ofincome. The Wellness area is located at the corner of the ground floor at the rear side of the house. One of the owner’s business is spa and and body products. This a must have for her. It is part of the gym area made specially for the guest to have a Zen and aroma therapy while having a shower Bolognese style. The bathroom is concrete finish from floor to walls. The showerhas a conrete spout that pours a certain flow of water that creates a massaging effect. The floor of the shower is made from peables stone from Thailand. It has a acrylic wall with embedded bamboo sticks which mimics a south eastern type of outdoor bathing. The lighting of the bathroom are only candles recessed inside from the wall that gives a cozy relaxing feeling. A light from Stone International is place overhead which gives a shadow that enhances the mood of the bathroom. Because it is a small area, i decided to make a high ceiling with full height double swing door opens you to different world. In fact this is my favorite part of the house that i designed.

ECOLOG GROUP LOBBYDUBAI AIRPORT FREE ZONE, DUBAI

The Ecolog Group lobby interior design is very challenging and technical as well. The CEO ask for a contemporary approach for the interior design but not the usual designswe see every day. So i came up with shapes sketches and references that would give me something to define and work thaT will complement every area of the lobby.

Page 25: Portfolio

The evolution of the design was very long, for it took sometime for me to desfine the shape and use of the counter.Looking for the right element and materials was not easy. The main goal is to come up with something that is a workof art.

FINAL SHAPE AND TEXTURE

Transition of the design is verytedious. There are a lot of challenges along the processspecially by the client itself. The process of design approval for both the feature wall and thereception desk took a while andthe changes and transformationtook a couple of months. And bythe time the changes in the design is over construction starts right away.Construction is another phase that made the whole projectspecial. The reception counterwas a not possible to be madeby assigned contractor. Non of their design team can providethe exact detail they need to fabricate the counter. So the contractor needed me to helpthem draw the details they need. With the help of multiple drawingsoftware, we have extracted thedetails the will be needed in the fabrication.

The feature wall was another manually labored work. The con-tractor had a problem fabricatinga perfect edge pieces of solidconcrete. Installing each pieces ofslab was not a easy thing for thecontractor. For the have to be verycareful with edges spacing andbrokerage of the concrete slab.At the end, everything went downgood and we got exactly we havedesign and work for long months.
