Benetti breaks 100Confirming the sale of two yachts over 100metres, Benetti continues its trend ofproducing larger yachts.Images Benetti Yachts
These recent contracts confirm Benetti’s place in the over 90-metre superyacht sector. One 90-metre yacht is already well underway, while two vessels over 100-metres have also sold.
The two yachts will be built at Benetti’s Leghorn facilities, specialist in larger yachts, technology and capacity, with 14 yachts over 50-metres are currently under construction.

Le chantier italien Benetti, à Livourne, dédié à la construction de yachts et de superyachts
Alors que le Cannes Yachting Festival bat son plein, le chantier italien Benettivient de dévoiler deux ventes peu ordinaires.
Ces ciommandes commande consistent en effet dans la vente de deux superyachts de plus de 100m
de long, qui vient compléter la construction en cours d'une unité de 90 mètres, la FB 256 dont la
livraison est prévue en 2015.
Leur construction aura lieu sur le site industriel de Livourne.
Pour la direction de Benetti, interrogée par ActuNautique.com, ces deux commandes confirment la
capacité du chantier à construire en même temps, un nombre importants de yachts de toutes tailles,
notamment des grandes unités.

Benetti has sold two megayachts over 100 metres in length. The company is oriented towards producingincreasingly larger yachts.

Benetti verkoopt twee superjachten van meer dan 100 meter

De Italiaanse werf Benetti heeft twee superjachten van meer dan 100 meter verkocht. En dat isknap, want de meeste aankopen gebeuren pas na de Cannes, Monaco en Genua Boatshows,welke in september en begin oktober zijn.
De meeste miljardairs kijken eerst goed rond op de Cannes boatshow (deze week), de Monaco Yacht Show(eind van de maand) of de Genua Boatshow (begin oktober) voor inspiratie. De grote orders volgen dan inhet laatste kwartaal van het jaar. Benetti Yachts heeft het voor elkaar gekregen deze maand twee ordersvoor superjachten langer dan 100 meter binnen te halen.
De afgelopen 14 jaar is Benetti een van de wereldleiders in de productie van jachten boven de 24 meter.Grote concurrenten zijn Nederlandse werven als Feadship, Heesen Amels en Oceanco en de Duitse wervenLürssen en Blohm+Voss.
Eigenaren
De eigenaren van deze jachten waren vroeger voornamelijk rijke Europeanen en Amerikanen, maar zij zijninmiddels ingehaald door rijke Russen en Arabieren.
Benetti
Benetti werd opgericht in 1873 en is de oudste Italiaanse werf welke luxe motorjachten bouwt. Ieder jachtis uniek en gemaakt om de behoeften van haar eigenaar. Benetti's hoofdkantoor is in Viareggio, daarnaastzijn er kantoren in Fano en Livorno en servicekantoren in FortLauderdale, Dubai en Hong Kong. Benetti is onderdeel van Azimut | Benetti Group, 's werelds grootsteprive-kapitaal groep in de maritieme industrie.
De bouw van de superjachten start binnenkort, de werf zal diverse updates verschaffen over de bouw vande schepen die op dit moment nog geen werknummer hebben.

oriented towards ever longer vessels, bursts into the over 90m mega-yacht sector revealing the
advanced state of production of a 90m yacht and the double sale of two megayachts over 100m
in length.

At the Cannes Yachting Festival, Benetti's CEO Vincenzo Poerio just announced minutes ago, that Benettihas signed two contracts to build two 100m+ superyachts.
Vincenzo Poerio said: "The world is more and more looking for larger yachts and as you know we are building a 90metre which will be delivered next year. I am now pleased to announce that we have signed two contracts foryachts over 100 metres".
More details have not yet been released.

Benetti announces new orders for 100m-plus superyachts atCannes boat show

Azimut-Benetti chose the occasion of its press conference at the Cannes boat show toannounce that Benetti has received two new orders for superyachts of 100-metres-plus LOA.

This marks a progression in size for the Italian builder's custom yacht range. Benetti currentlyhas a 90-metre superyacht in build for a repeat client. The new order Benetti 100-metre-plussuperyachts are for two different, experienced yacht owners and are not sister ships orrelated, Benetti's Chief Commercial Officer Fabio Ermetto told Boat International.
Benetti is treating the new orders with the utmost privacy due to the owners' wishes, noteven revealing the exact size of the yachts at this time. It is an attitude Benetti intends totake with any future 100-metre-plus custom yachts signed as well.
'It's an approach we've decided to have on these size boats,' Ermetto says. 'I think a boat ofa certain size, the boat will have great visibility. The number of boats over 100 metres islimited, and the owners are concerned about privacy and visibility even during construction.These are long-term projects, so it's good that the shipyard and owners' teams can workwithout external influences; it creates a calm and quiet environment to do their job.'
We can report that Benetti is building a new shed to accommodate the build of the neworders. Once the new shed is completed, the shipyard will start the first 100-metre-plussuperyacht, and then when the Benetti 90-metre leaves the shed, this second 100-metre-plusBenetti will begin its build.
'We decided to invest in the new shed because in addition to these two contracts, we arediscussing with other clients boats of this size,' sayss Ermetto, 'so we believe in this marketfor the future.'

Benetti sells two Mega Yachts over 100 metresSeptember 10, 2014
Benetti, the worlds largest builder of yachts over 24 meters in length for 14 consecutive years, with a focus on a production of ever largervessels, entered the over 90 meter mega-yacht sector unveiling the advanced state of production of a 90 meter yacht and the double sale oftwo megayachts over 100 meters in length.

This exceptional result once again underlines Benetti’s unique quality of having both a high number of yachts under construction coupled withnumerous contracts. This is the result of a consolidated financial effort that the whole Azimut Benetti group has managed to develop though the yearsby earning the trust on one hand of institutional lenders and on the other of clients from all market sectors around the globe. The attention and carethat Benetti pays to their clients during the delicate pre-contractual phase, together with their world wide reputation for quality products, has allowedthem to reach ever higher objectives.
The two new ships will be built at their Leghorn facilities in Italy, well known for their size, technology, and available construction slots (14 over 50meter long yachts are currently under construction there).
Benetti will be keep constantly updated all media regarding work in progress of those yachts over the next months.

At its annual Cannes show press briefing, Azimut-Benetti Group CEO Vincenzo Poerioannounced that two contracts in excess of 100m (328ft) have been signed. Due toconfidentiality agreements with the owners, no further details can be given at this time.A normally reliable Asian source of IBI said that one of the contracts is understood tobe for a mainland Chinese client.
Fabio Ermetto, Benetti’s recently appointed chief commercial officer, told IBI: “To dealwith these new orders we have to build a new construction hall which will be 120m(394ft). We have recently completed a new 90m hall and the new one will take somemonths to build.”
The press briefing emphasised that Benetti is working on a programme to strengthenthe group’s market position. This includes applying lessons learnt from the car andaviation industries and applying them to the group’s manufacturing processes. This isboth to improve quality and cut costs. Benetti is also using actions from theseindustries to enhance its competitiveness and improve customer care services.
The company is also driving its branding forward through a series of actions. Amongthese are operating locally and globally, which involves adapting its productsspecifically for each of its markets. Greater use of innovation is being developed in partto contribute towards launching new models. Ongoing long-term investment in thegroup will continue in order to offer new products for a growing market.

Two 100m+ orders for Benetti
Benetti has confirmed the sale of not one, but two 100m+ superyacht projects. The new orders trump Benetti's biggest order to date, 90m FB256, whichis on schedule to launch in 2015. The two new yachts will be built at Benetti's Leghorn facilities.
The yard team says that these new orders underline Benetti's ability to have a high nmber of yachts under construction coupled with numerouscontracts. This is the result of a consolidated financial effort that the whole Azimut Benetti group has managed to develop though the years by earningthe trust on one hand of institutional lenders and on the other of clients from all market sectors around the globe.
Benetti will release more information on these significant projects as they progress.

Benetti Confirms Two Superyacht Sales Over 100m

Cannes Yachting Festival: 2014guideForget the film festival. For superyacht aficionados the most glamorousevent in Cannes is its yachting festival
When it comes to yacht spotting, little has quite the jaw-dropping awe-factorof the Monaco Yacht Show, a predominantly industry-led gathering featuring100-plus of the world’s most splendid yachts in the principality’s Port Hercule(not to mention an even great number of hors de concours as it were, whichlie at anchor further out to sea). But 35 miles along the Cote d’Azur, theCannes Yachting Festival is both much larger and altogether more accessible.In essence, this is Cannes as its most glamorous. Among the stand-outs promise to be SeawayYachts’ Shipman 59, a strikingly beautiful18.9m/62ft carbon yacht that itsmanufacturers not only promise is
“unsinkable” thanks to her carbon-epoxy construction, but whose hybridtechnology means she can operate with zero emissions in marinasand anchorages and there’s no noisy generator sound to disturb you – shesleeps six – at night.
For stealthy operation – the ability to slip from moorings all but silently – isquite a trend this year. Witness Admiral Sail’s four-cabin Silent 76, the biggest– at 23m/76ft – sailing boat at Cannes. Its interior nevertheless features onyx,marble and several sorts of leather, in short the sorts of material more usuallyfound on superyachts than high-performance sailing boats. She is alsounexpectedly spacious, featuring a garage capable of accommodating awaterjet tender of up to 3.2m and a jet ski.
Of course there’ll be power boats, tenders and, of course, superyachts too.Look out for Logica Yachts’ distinctive 44.8m/147ft Logica 147-01, designedby Luca Brenta, with contemporary interiors by the London practice MartinKemp Design.
But my hunch is that there’ll be none larger, nor more ingeniously configuredthan 55m/180ft Ocean Paradise. Built by Benetti and a star of last year’sMonaco Yacht Show, this one belongs to the Singaporean investor Adrian Lee,whose portfolio includes Klapsons Hotel in Singapore, hencethe contemporary “design-hotel” aesthetic, which makes much of texture,colour and unexpected fabrics: pale blue ponyskin bedheads, crocodile-effectleather on the stair treads and expansive use of silvery woven carbon fibre.(Though its interiors can be customised according to taste.) In short, she isvery much worth a look.
At which point it’s worth noting, that if you book in advance, admission to theCannes Yachting Festival is just €15 (or €18 at the gate). In comparison, aweek aboard Ocean Paradise (she sleeps 12), through the brokerage Y.Co,starts at $300,000.
Cannes Yachting Festival runs from September 9 to 14 and is open dailyfrom 10am to 7pm (until10pm on Friday).
Monaco Yacht Show takes place from September 24 to 27 and runs from10am to 6.30pm daily; visitor passes cost €150.

Benetti Building 2 100-Meter-Plus MegayachtsSEPTEMBER 10, 2014 BY DIANE M. BYRNE
Two megayachts measuring more than 328 feet (100 meters) are now on Benetti’s order books.
Benetti is keeping details close to the vest. For now, it will only reveal that both 100-meter-plus megayachts are being
built at its Livorno site. (Benetti has two additional shipyards, one in Fano and one in Viareggio.)
Super-size superyachts are not new for Benetti. It currently has one megayacht of 90 meters (XX) in build for
completion for next year. Back in 1980, it built the 282-foot (86-meter) Nabila, now known as Kingdom 5KR. The length
was astounding for the time. Twenty years later, Benetti built Reverie, measuring 230 feet (70 meters). Even then, it
was rare to see megayachts of such magnitude.
It’s interesting to note that 14 megayachts of 164 feet (50 meters) and larger are in various stages at Benetti’s Livorno
facility.

BENETTI CONFIRMS SALE OF TWO SUPERYACHTS OVER 100METERS
Benetti has announced the sale of two superyachts over 100 meters inlength.
Benetti has burst onto the superyacht scene revealing the advanced state of production of a 90-meter yacht and the saleof two superyachts over 100 meters in length. The two new yachts will be built at the manufacturer’s Leghorn facilities,well known for their size, technology, and available construction slots where fourteen 50-meter-plus projects are currentlyunder construction.
