The Sunday mass (December 30, 2007) was presided by Fr. Benny de Guzman and was sponsored by the SJSAA. The newly-elected SJSAA officers where inducted and did their oath-taking during the mass. Fr. Benny encouraged them to recite their pledge before the Holy Host.

Batch 82 prepares... Organizing the homecoming for 2007 was a perfect excuse to learn and practise the line dance. All meetings prior to the homecoming either begun or ended with dancing to the tune of “Uptown Girl”.

Details, details. December 27, 2007. The home-

coming involved a lot of hard work which the silver and golden jubilarians cheerfully did, such as putting up the tents, making the face board, collecting and sorting the used clothes to be sold, food preparation and a thou-sand other details. We even managed to attend the lunch reception of a batchmate (Rebecca Tayaban) who got married this day! Another accomplishment was the motorcade (Kiangan-Lagawe-Kiangan) which we did to invite all SJS alumni to the homecoming.

Batch 82 has a special bond that gathers its members to join in every homecoming, celebrate each member’s birthday and wedding together, work in projects for their alma mater, commiserate with a grieving batchmate and even visit batchmates who are now based in far towns and provinces. The following pictures feature some of Batch 82’s gatherings and activities.

Turn-over of the Key of the Responsibility Batch 57 turned over the key to Batch 58, and Batch 82 turned it over to Batch 83. Good luck, Batches 58 and 83.
